It is possible to change the start location?
Every time Im loading my game sessions, Im starting at devil’s crossing or fort iron.
But there a 4 acts.
It is possible to load the game and you start point/location is homestead or rovers zone?
I can only switch between devil’s crossing and Fort Iron. When I want to homestead I must travel to it.
I like the idea to start my session in homestead.
Then finish your session in Homestead then you should start a new session there. Devil’s Crossing, Homestead and Fort Ikon are the only spots where you can start a session.

I am not entirely sure if this works every time, but at one point I was in Devil’s Crossing with my lvl 40 Elementalist and I quit the game in that place. ( He normally starts in Homestead at the moment. ) After a few hours I restarted the game and he was still in Devil’s Crossing.
As I already mentioned I am not sure if that always works, but you could use a Rift gate to get to Homestead or Devil’s Crossing and then quit the game there?
And then check if that does the trick for you.

No, 3 in base game and 2/3 in the expansion. I’ve started the expansion in Coven’s Refuge and also the Steelcap District. Down in the Malmouth sewers too, but can’t remember if that was just because that was as far as I got.
I log out in steelcap all the time and being in coven’s. Not sure if it is bugged or intended.
Where you start is based on the last town you visited.
If you are in Homestead but gate to Devils Crossing, then use a gate to Udenbog, when you quit the game you will restart in Devils Crossing.

What is “visited” exactly? Shops or riftgates?
For me, the method that works all the time is buying a potion.
It’s walking through the area where you spawn, vendors have nothing to do with it besides often being in the area.
