Stats of relics differ?

Good evening,

I noticed that the stats of my relics differ a little bit from the stats listed on the websites and even from already crafted ones.
So my calamity for example has 32 offensive ability and a new crafted one would have 28 and on the website (grimtools and wiki) it has 35.

I thought they have fixed values like the artifacts in Titan Quest had.

But if they are not then its strange that these values won’t change when I switch areas or start a new session, like faction gear values, or just by crafting a second one.

So why are there different values for my relics now? Are the stats random and what is changing them?

What you’re seeing on webs like grimtools or the in-game crafting menu are the base stats which serve as the item’s average values as they can have stats above or below these to some degree.

Stats on items can vary, there’s an option on grimtools in the upper left corner on the database that shows the range on these stats instead of the base values.

But what makes them change? After I relogged the relics stated the same values and crafted for the same values. So is there a way to influence them?

EDIT: Alright I now know what happened. The tooltip at the blacksmith shows the lower boundary value, and well I got extremly unlucky and crafted a relic with all random values being the lowest possible :D.
