I’ve been searching for a definitive answer on this for a while, but haven’t been able to find one. I’ve seen people asking whether achievements were still granted if you played a custom game with mods and many of the replies have been yes. I imagine in-game achievements would still trigger upon completing their requirements. However, I have not seen anyone mention whether or not the steam achievements would trigger as well.
I’ve achieved most of the simple and story based achievements already, so testing this myself is difficult. I would like to try some of the mods this game has to offer while I work toward the rest of the steam achievements, but I don’t want to waste my time working towards them only to find out that only the in-game achievements trigger.
I know achievements are basically meaningless, but I enjoy trying to work through them. If anyone has a definitive answer on whether the steam achievements still trigger while playing with mods, I would greatly appreciate it!
