I know, I for one would purchase a Steam Deck in a heartbeat if I could play Grim Dawn on the thing…

Pretty sure all it would take would be additional UI scaling to accommodate the low resolution (1280x800)

Besides that, just have the controls mapped like they are on Xbox etc.

Any chance of this happening??

(Sounds like people with “small” 42" TV’s need additional UI scaling anyways so theoretically, this should be a fairly simple addition/patch?)

Duh, look on GD’s Steam store page. It’s already playable on the Steam Deck.

Here’s a simple test I performed with GD waaaaay back when the Deck was first announced…

  • Set the game to the Deck’s resolution. Make sure the non-Steam controller option in the Keybinding settings is toggled on if not using a Steam controller.

  • Enter the game. Report back exactly what occurs at this juncture.

Bonus points:

  • If you really want to replicate it a little more then install something like Manjaro Linux (which is Arch-based, just like SteamOS 3) and test the above there as well.
