I have several cellars. And to ensure food is distributed evenly amongst all of them I am specifying a minimum and maximum amount.
For example, I am trying to set up the fruits. Right now I have 1600 distributed chaotically all over the place. So I said, put a minimum of 200 fruit per cellar and a maximum of 300. But as soon as I set this up the following message appears:
I am wondering what is triggering this message and if this is actually stopping from working as I expect it to. Or maybe I am not understanding how it works?
its working as intended.
you now have 1665.
your workers will remove 1365 to another cellar if there is empty space, because of maximum.
when yout villagers will consume fruits and the amout will be lower than minimum, in your case 200 this storage will start working untill its full up by maximum=300
The 1665 is the total amount of fruit globally. In that partuclar storage unit there are only 133 fruits, which is below the minimum (200), so it should not be paused.
Edit: the thing is that the functionality is there, it works. Workers bring the stock up to 200. So I don’t understand the message. It is definitely not paused, but it says it is.
i describe ur minimum and maximum mechanic in game not only for storage for all production.
if maximum reached, work is stopped. until the consumption result is reaching minimum.
its pause meaning new fruits will not stored here until its have free slots depends on your maximum.
