I have to disagree on not a top build part. According to who, yeah it have amazing kill times/mobility/single target damage but i think it is the best build i have ever played for Crucible so far.
I managed to finish HC Gladiator twice with it and left off at 149 once out of 3 attempts (altho the version of the build i use is semi different). Can even squeeze more damage to this build if playing HC therefore stacking tankiness as much as possible is not an issue.
With really end-game best-in-slot gear, I could see it working as a top build (not in killing speed of a single target like a nemesis), but just in general in terms of being able to handle all game content including cruicible and including being safe enough of a build to do hardcore. It’s basically just a tank soldier character meant to survive, and instead of worrying about energy management, it uses cool down based “spells” in the form of totems. Really is like the “clerics” of D&D days, heavy plate casters.
I could definitely see it being pushed towards vitality to change it up and to change the devotions too as an alt.
