Stuck in Malmouth Outskirts... need help

After more than 1k hours in Grim Dawn, it’s the first time I don’t know how to progress. :o

I’m in Malmouth Outskirts, have searched everything and flipped every stone.

One open quest is to “Speak to Ulgrim in the Malmouth Outskirts”.
Where the hell is he?

I also entered the sewers, but the people there have no new quests for me and both exits are locked.

What do I need to do?

Any help is appreciated. :slight_smile:

Ulgrim is right next to the Malmouth Sewers riftgate.

You still need to talk with Ulgrim in the Malmouth Outskirts riftgate. He’s right next to it.

Have you talked to him before that in the Void?

Maybe you missed that and so he isn’t spawning at the next riftgates? Or maybe you end the dialogue before he is telling you, that he will follow in the shadows (after you have cleared the way out of the void).

Did you talk to him at the first riftgate right after the void?

I have the exact same issue. Ulgrim does not appear anywhere in Malmouth Outskirts not in the Sewers. This breaks the game, as you can’t progress.

This fixed it! He was still at the first riftgate at the watchtower. This is a bit confusing as the quest says that he is at the Outskirts. Oh well.

I think that I missed him at the first riftgate due to how my camera was angled. He disappears from sight entirely from certain angles.

Ulgrim is really easy to miss at that rift gate because the yellow question mark above his head is hidden by a broken pillar…

Yup! He should be moved to the more open part. In addition, the quest text should say that he is at the watchtower, not at Malmouth Outskirts (considering that there is an area which is named exactly that and he isn’t there).

Weird! He was there for me when I got there yesterday. Did you see him outside the Lon Watch riftgate? You talked to him?

after you talk to him at the lone watchtower, he will be at malmouth outskirt right behind the riftgate of malmouth outskirt…:smiley:

The quest dialogues with Ulgrim are a bit wonky, probably b/c it’s not guaranteed that he makes it to malmouth (or that YOU make it haha).
