Stuck off the playable area after teleporting using Arcane Rift

It happened in SR just when I was about to complete the 50th shard :smiling_face_with_tear:
I used Arcane Rift to advance through the branch bridge and I ended in a bugged space.


I tried teleporting back by clicking everywhere, but it was no use. I had to abandon the run :sob:

And it seems the space is so tight that I can’t even summon my cosmetic pets lol

No mods were used.

Why are these bugs so easy to fix, but require a report to do so? Is there no way to spot these places, no pattern connecting them? I’m asking out of technical curiosity.

Most likely has to be fixed by hand. The map editor is finicky in my experience and some of these areas can be hard to spot as there is maybe like one pixel that will allow the player through. AFAIK it’s a matter of painting certain areas with an brush to remove the pathing

I guess because it’s not viable to test absolutely every area in the game to see if there are any bugs.

The way I found out this bug was very incidental.

It’s not feasibly possible to test every jump, leap, and charge across the entire path mesh, and most of these occur in places that you will not see on the map without dissecting it. Which is why when it gets reported with a location, we can address it fairly quickly because then we know where to look.
