Right now bloody pox is a little meh as a skill. It’s mainly used to reduce the health of enemies in mass and in thorns builds due to fevered rage.
Anyway here’s the suggestions.
Remove the direct vitality damage on Wasting and replace it with vitality decay over 5 with a 500% damage boost this is over the full duration not per tick which would be 315 base damage over 5 seconds at rank 12 of wasting which is 63 decay per second.
On black death change the + vitality damage modifier to + vitality decay to fit with this change.
With this change I would also like to see + Vitality decay damage modifier added to possession. The logic behind adding this to possession is just that all of the exclusive skills focus on direct and side damages of types such as cold and frost burn, acid and poison and so on. Right now we don’t have anything that is for vitality and vitality decay though that’s only half right as possession gives +vitality just no vitality decay. This would just add that in.
The final change I would suggest is adding another mod to the skill that makes it more of a debilitating debuff instead of a mass frenzy debuff. I’ll put a suggestion below.
-3 seconds from cooldown
-25% offensive ability
25% chance on application to confuse target for 3 seconds
-20% poison, bleed and vitality decay resistance
-35% movement speed
I would suggest making the mod exclusive and if both are selected only 1 is applied for that cast. Like if the player has both fevered rage and debilitating disease it’s a 50/50 chance on cast to be applied and 1 effect overrides the other. This would keep it from being overpowered as having both mods would be a little to strong.
