Myself and most likely many others included are rather tired of never finding
these Nemesis, and we’ve most likely just missed several by skipping the wrong
part of the map…
So here is my suggestion.
Just like when you enter Gutworm’s lair, you get warned about something far stronger then you
that recides in the cave.
So how about if you enter without a certain distance of the Nemesis, you’re warned about
something “powerful” or “omnious” that is close to you… calling out your name.
Lets say you enter the 2nd floor on SoT. Then you get a red text on your screen
telling you that something powerful is hunting you on that level.
That way we won’t have to actually search every meter of each mapsection for these monsters.
I don’t really see how this eliminates the problem.
You’d still need to visit and search the various areas in which they could possibly spawn, though the searching process is reduced for areas in which there is not a Nemeses. But say Moosilauke spawns on SoT Floor 5 - you’d still need to go through Floors 1-4 anyways without actually knowing whether he’s on Floor 5, and then once at Floor 5 you’d still need to actually pin down where he showed up.
Alternative suggestion: give Nemeses radically higher aggro ranges. On the order of entire areas, for instance. Fabius in Hannefy Mine? Make him hunt me down as soon as I enter. Would reduce the searching factor (unchanging the visitation factor) and make the Nemeses have an aggressiveness about them that is expected of such penultimate enemies.
