Currently, health and energy potions may be bound to the keyboard quickbar, but not the controller quickbar.

Given the limited number of buttons available on controller, I have some characters (without energy issues) that opt to forgo the dedicated energy potion controller mapping in favor of another button function. At the same time I have other characters with spare quickbar slots that regularly need to use energy potions. I’d like to be able to play both kinds of characters without having to swap controller configurations, so…

I propose a simple solution, which is to allow the binding of health and energy potions to the controller quickbar. This would allow me to play both kinds of characters without having to either swap controller configurations or lose a button on piano builds to useless energy potions.
(Core issue)
Obviously you sort of have enough buttons on controller to make things work on piano builds regardless, but things really start to get tight when you add in quickbar swap and non-essential but clearly QoL-type functions like riftgate and re-center camera, so it’d be really nice to be able to ditch the dedicated energy potion mapping (and maybe for some players, the health potion mapping). Short of character-specific controller configs (which could get super messy/annoying depending on default behavior when you create a new character), I think adding flexibility by allowing health and energy potions on the controller quickbar is the easiest way to improve the situation a bit.
Lastly, I should add that having dedicated health and energy potion mapping for controller IS appreciated on a per-character basis, as it allows for all quickbar slots PLUS health and energy potions to be mapped to controller if needed; it’s merely ACROSS characters where the lack of potion-to-quickbar option hurts, as noted above.
