I was reloading path of exile while waiting for both the EA release and Fang of Asterkam, and I’ve stumbled on my dream feature for grim dawn : a chest where you can store and list one instance of every legendary in the game.
I think it could be the greatest feature ever on grim dawn for collectors like me
What I think it would look like if implemented :
- should be account bound (one for softcore, one for hardcore) => should not impact much the cloud storing capacity on steam
- should list missing uniques (name only, or even placeholder “???” name for spoiler free experience)
- should list obtained uniques (name + rolled stats)
- should have tabs/filters by slot
- should have filters by all|missing|obtained
- when a unique item is dropped inside:
- → it should fill the empty slot if you didn’t had it previously
- → it should replace the previously stored one if you already had it
- you should still be able to have multiple copies of uniques in other stash tabs
I’m aware of crate position on extra stashs (“just use gdstash, it delivers everything you just listed”) but I don’t like gdstash downsides (the major one beeing it not hosted online, so I have to handle myself backups and copies when switching computer)
I’m also aware this has been discussed many times in the past, but I found no recent “ideas and feedback” and I want to reiterate the benefits in light of the future release of poe2. Both games are amazing, and I think there is benefits in sharing great ideas between games
(On a business side, I think the stash microtransaction from POE is great, but I don’t ask to replicate this on Grimdawn. Just this one free bonus stash could be big)
