[Suggestion] Nemesis Chest

All blueprints is virtually impossible, I am past 2.5k hours and I haven’t found two conduits and honestly at this point I don’t expect to anymore. Shame because they make many new builds possible, but the rules are what they are.

It is impossible for everyone to get all blueprints, except in the limit “all players spend infinitely much time farming” :wink: This is the nature of RNG.

Well i do agree that iron bit drops should be larger all across the board. Seems pretty irrelevant to pick up those 100’s and 200’s bits when i have millions, mostly made by selling green+ items. And since there are a few money dumps of a kind in game already i don’t see why not just increase those money drops.

It’s not impossible actually, just very unlikely.

The system still gives you the same, very small, chance of getting a specific blueprint even if you have 99% of them already. The demoralizing part of the system is that the chance of finding any new blueprint declines as you find more of them. The guaranteed drops become almost guaranteed failures over time, and that kind of sucks.

This causes the perceived value of a nemesis chest to decline over time as well of course.

But if you drop a bp that you already have, how much more fun is that? I mean why does it suck to not drop blueprints, you have already learned them

That statement is true in all “holy grail” endeavors, the higher % of the total amount of items you already have - the less likely it is to get new ones.

Doesn’t have to be that way, you could remove all the already known ones from the list of picks, that way a guaranteed blueprint drop actually is guaranteed, until you have all of them. That’s obviously on the other end of the sliding scale of grinding, very easy to collect them all and probably too easy. Still, I think I would prefer that to the current setup.

I agree. Not getting the blueprint for the conduit/relic/component you need is a special hell that should reserved for people who talk in the theater.

Yeah, currently if you miss a vital blueprint such as a relic or a component when you already have 95-99% of the blueprints it becomes rather frustrating to farm for it.

Alternatively there is also the option for the game re-roll a blueprint drop if one drops that you have already have. Potentially this could be adjusted by the number of blueprints you have already have, i.e. have it re-roll 1x if you have 100 blueprints and something like 10X or even 20x if you have 500+ (Though I’m not sure how feasibly or complex this would be to implement).
