Suggestion: Public Test Releases

Blizzard has Public Test Releases for any major changes to their games when it comes to stat changes and gear changes.

What Crate needs to do is setup a ‘Testing’ version of the game and push changes there to get feedback on before throwing major updates to a full fledged release and killing characters and builds, putting hundreds of hours of gamers time to waste and not talking about the added frustration.

Some people can’t even use their weapons or gear depending on the changes of requirements of the gear, which should never ever happen.

If this sort of stuff is to happen, the game should not be labelled as fully released. This is not how things are done professionally. You cannot simply just uproot a player’s game without any sort of notice.

We spent hundreds of hours working our way to an objective only to have us kicked our teeth out by the developers because of the lack of communication channels between gamers and developers.

So Crate, if you could kindly setup a more practical working environment, it would best for all of us involved.

P.S. When you do make major attribute changes, at least reset the players character attributes so they can adjust it properly to the new system.

Public testing is both good and bad, I am reminded of an old saying too many cooks ruin the broth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrGrOK8oZG8

Too many hands and heads does not always equal better outcomes.

You are not wrong, but at least some work could be put in more to avoid situations like the current one. The patch may be a great thing but the way they went about it was completely wrong.
