Curious because if I remember correctly, there was a hint on one of the livestreams when Summon hellhound was going to get a visual rework in terms of being like a wolf design version of it when the DLC was announced close to two years ago.
Is that true, and if so, is that design only going to be for players who will buy the expansion or will it be accessible for players who don’t buy the expansion?

Think you might be confusing it with an MI transmuter for Guardians of Empyrion that was teased in one of the early Grim Misadventures.
Aren’t they supposed to be specific when it comes to the berserker mastery cause it seems like the designs are only if the berserker is in that form?
Regardless, if they change the design of the pet I’ll be pleased.

It’s likely gonna be either a part of a set or on an Legendary/MI that is intended to be used on a Zealot (Oathkeeper+Berserker). I doubt it’ll be tied to you shapeshifting specifically, just an item skill modifier with a new aesthetic. Otherwise they’d have to keep turning back and forth between their GoE and their wolf form whenever your werewolf form runs out, since they’re not permanent.
As I recall, one of the Misadventures episodes mentioned that there would be items that would visually change the summons of Blade Spirit and Guardian of Empyrion, as well as items that would make the beast form permanent.
That’s mainly for the 5 piece berserker set fenris, but i do know they would put feathers on the blade spirits iirc from one of the livestreams when they first showed off berserker gameplay and he mentioned it
