So ive been reading people complaining about certain builds and such being weak or weaker in the new patch…
I always just took that is how it is… theres still a lot of builds that will never kill certain bosses specially ones who can fumble you its just not possible and ive never liked that…
I see the devs commenting on certain things but this has never been addressed… why cant certain builds not clear the game 100%?
So when certain builds struggle but can kill skeleton key bosses is looked as an issue but a build never being able to kill super bosses is just ignored?
Devotions being weak is also a big issue in this game leviathan still sucks yet takes up so many points that you cant do much else its always better going another route, theres others in the same boat. 1.2 is not fixing these it seems, is this a job for the new dlc?
I suppose having classes to kill specific bosses is okay in a way since the game is fun to have loads characters but its also annoying to have super classes vrs meh classes and some of the meh classes are the most fun and super classes literally 2 button…
I think you have to give more specific feedback if you want to have some changes.
Also some things you say are subjectitve.
If you have problem with a certain build then make a feedback thread about it. don’t test thousands of builds on their own.
I disagree with the title. I think that all classes can kill all superbosses with some builds. At least in 1.1.9.8.
This is not true that it’s always better to take another route. Me and some other players are taking Leviathan with Chillwhisper DE for example. It spreads nicely on Ill Omen.
has been addressed several times
Super Bosses were always intended to not be handled by every build, but be a peak character challenge for specialized build to get success, basically a giant build check.
It’s also one of the reasons they didnt’ consider it for general game balance concerns for a long time, until it turned out powercreep meant more and more builds could handle them and kill them much easier; more than originally intended.
^devs kept saying they did not want to include ex ravager kill times into consideration for if an endgame build deserved buffs.
But now with new mechanics seems like the dev intend is to get them more back to being harder and less available for “all” builds again, on appearance back to more inline with the original dev design.
keep in mind there is a big difference from class vs build, afaik currently all classes can kill super bosses because all 36 classes have some form of build that can kill them even if not all builds can
or you know… step out of the frickin fumble pool? @_@
it’s not really complicated
and yes you can kill a fumble boss on blademaster
here i’m also gonna assume you’re specifically referring to Ravager of Souls and not some more generic boss like Grava, in which case you’re also partially self inflicting that challenge by picking the/a harder Ravager spawn for your build than you might have to. Doesn’t mean you can’t kill it, just that you made it potentially harder, and then need to work around this boss’ gimmick “step out of pools”
again, incorrect, there are builds that can’t kill all super bosses yes, there is not a single class that can’t, those two are very different
This was, originally, the idea for Super Bosses, but at this point isn’t the case anymore. Most, if not all, classes can kill all Super Bosses. Blademaster is definitely among the ones most capable of fully clearing the game.
“Tackle New Foes - test your mettle against new super bosses and additional Nemesis bosses for old factions. Five new hero monster archetypes populate the entirety of Cairn alongside older additions.”
well, at minimum there should be 2
one regular one, and one secret one
hopefully we get treated to like the 3michelin star 12course tasting menu with 5desserts so we get moar (than the previous 2boss per content trend)
