But you can still make statistical interpretations like how many runs for x% of players have found at least one of them etc.
I mean as long as you have events that are more or less independent and “rare” (or many trials), you can apply the math in that series.

If you learn about statistics, you will stop have to bother about these things 
why thou? chance of this item’s drop is still much higher than chance to get, say, light cruiser Yuubari (Kancolle) from normal construction which is ~0.9% and you don’t spend resources/materials to obtain it. ehh
