Hello!
I find pretty surprising that currently there is no in game key to take a screenshot. Using print screen and pasting the picture in Paint is annoying. What do you think?
Cheers!

It’d be a nice addition. Though I use Puush and their little ShareX application to do screenies anyway, so…
If you use Steam you can just use the Steam feature for screenshots: F12
I use FRAPS. Pretty nice imo
What I don’t understand is why when I do hit Print Screen it doesn’t save in the My Games/Grim Dawn/screenshots folder I made. I’m playing mostly with GOG rather than Steam - I can never get any screenshot in Steam to appear by using F12. If I do take a shot I have to alt+tab out of the game to paste it into Paint, otherwise the next shot I take overwrites it.
It can’t be the fact that it’s a download and not a disc. I can quite happily take screenshots using Print Screen when playing Titan Quest Anniversary Edition. So why don’t my screenshots go where they’re supposed to go?
Odd, cause print screen stores my screenshots in Documents\my games\Grim Dawn\Screenshots
Yes, it is strange because I think it used to. I’ve only recently understood the alt+tab idea (computer idiot that I am) and I have posted screenshots over the years so they must have gone somewhere. Just tried again with the Steam version and nope, not in the folder and not on Steam either. Just able to paste it straight into Paint.
You all use a third party program to take screenshots, that should not be required.
Does it work with the GOG version Zantai? I do not have any screenshot folder there. Only “save” and “settings”.
I didn’t have one, but just made a folder for them.
I guess if it worked it would create automatically the folder
Working fine for me in the GOG version too.
You don’t have something bound to Printscreen in-game, do you? :undecided:
No, not that I can see. The only keybindings I’ve changed around are the Weapon Swop and Health Potions as I prefer to have Weapon Swop on “R”. Everything else is the default game settings. Don’t use anything other than LMB, RMB and number keys ingame.
Well, that’s what I did. Made my own.
