Does anyone actually use this transmuter? It seems so counterproductive having to chase down fleeing enemies, let alone the bottleneck it presents to your clear times. Anyone willing to extol the virtues?
I never used it, but I imagine it can be useful for squishy builds to take a breather to use a pot, or when you just want to make room… I think it would be better if it had a higher chance to terrify your enemies, though.
I’ve used it a lot. It’s very strong for breaking up groups of enemies that would otherwise overwhelm you. It’s certainly more of a niche skill and not every build will want it, but I think it’s good.
It used to have a higher chance (like 50%) and it was pretty broken.
>Soldier Mastery
Terrify/Confuse/Fumble are sadly overlooked by many.
It’s a great investment imo. Especially on Ultimate, squishy or not you’re not invincible, so it helps disperse the crowd- which helps a lot in Chthonic rifts, where enemies pop up only when you “pass over” them
Really? Maybe if it had a higher cooldown as well as a higher chance to terrify, it could work without being too broken? This actually makes me wanna try it now.
Some Soldier builds can end up being a bit squishy, especially if your gear is lacking… The only reason you’d need to use it, is if you’re having trouble holding a pack of mobs constantly.
Speaking of soldier.
I keep hearing that Battlemage was nerfed before B31 (when i joined)
What is so bad/not-good about Battlemage. I wanted it to be my first soldier mastery profile
I did have it on one of my ranged Commando’s but I haven’t used it in a while. It worked wonders back then, but I guess so did flashbang. But yeah, I don’t like chasing enemies down when I’m melee.
Well if your soldier is pretty tanky don’t u want to be surrounded by mobs? Well at least if you use adcth.
They say sword and board melee battlemage damage is not quite up there.
Cadence is a pretty beefy attack now
