Making monsters flee, is a “feature” which all players, of any race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation, in any aRPG, have always avoided like a plague. Because reasons.
Can’t really think of a single point to justify its existence here as well.
For melee characters this is a nuisance, unless you are about to die.
For ranged, it’s not such a nuisance and can be useful as mobs tend to rush you, and this would cause them to flee and give you time to kill more of them, heal, etc. Since you are ranged, you should be able to damage/kill them from afar.
This thing doesn’t work on anything woul’d like to, but the weakest enemies which you wouldn’t like.
It’s just a PITA and lowers clear speed, it always has been this way. No exceptions.
Yes, feels a bit better with ranged. Not useful at the slightest, but definitely less annoying.
