Nah, I killed him today with a Physical Markovian Witchblade on Ultimate. Blow all your cooldowns and DPS him for a few seconds, then kite him around the jungle til your cooldowns are back up, dodge the blood pools. Took like 7 or 8 minutes probably.
It takes at most 2 minutes with a ranged dot build. Difficulty difference is huge.
four? pretty sure we saw waaaaaaaaaaaay more than that. does he spawn more if more players are present? maybe it’s 4 per player. we killed a bunch they kept coming. i mean there was a whole crowd of them on the screen, we fought him in the Undergrowth.
does he get bugged sometimes? it seemed like every time we killed one it was replaced, and we killed quite a few. i heard originally he splits when you kill him into 2-4 clones, you kill the clones and you’re done. that is not AT ALL what happened for us lol. we spent like 200 lives but we did finally kill them all.
saw a youtube today, he didn’t split at all till the end, then it was only 2 adds. wtf that looks like a totally different boss than what we ran into
The big one splits into two and those two split into two each. So one big, two medium and four small (sound like i just ordered burgers). Pretty sure multiplayer doesn’t affect anything when it comes to boss mechanics.

and with just one breath, he killed me…
I know my stat aren’t that good, only 7k health
but all resist are either 80-70%

if it’s bleed, I have 70%
You certainly don’t have 70% physical resistance though. :undecided:
I have 16k health and 80% bleed res and the breath can definitely one shot me. It is easy to dodge thankfully.
I encountered him in elite yesterday.
Needless to say, it did not go so well for my reaper…
Post-patch Kuba seems way more manageable. Hunted him down this evening in Ugdenbog and killed him in about 2min with a Physical (melee) Witchblade. Light kiting to keep him out of blood, but not as crazy as before. Pre-patch took me at least 5 min and extensive kiting.
It’s nerfed now.

Implying the complaining wasn’t entirely justified.
This , sick to death of bumping in to him , seems every map in Undenbog has him at various locs , yeah I can run away on my pet build and usually run far enough backwards "all the way to the coven sometimes , from the next map over " he’s like a feckin bloodhound . Kicker was the quest in the mine and the twat was in there , so I have to log out back in and fight my way back , hate the guy and his many spawn points .
For future reference a Nemesis will always chase you until you enter a new zone (via a zone break like a cavern entrance or portal). They never give up.
I think you must be one of those who enjoy unnecessarily long drawn out battles. It’s not even frustrating if a boss can one shot me but it is frustrating if a boss is taking too long to kill due to some eccentric mechanic

Giant difference between challenge and extreme tedium. Kuba wasn’t hard to begin with, he was just really boring and tedious to fight.
Because people were too lazy to move around and kite.
Now cry Crate may buff it. Make Kupachupachup great again.
Because yes, melee builds apparently can kite. Oh wait, they can’t because they have to stay in place to attack and that meant Kuba would heal fast.
