Chupa is way overnerfed. What this guy actually needed was a reduction in healing rate and the number of pools spawned. I find him to pose no threat atm, no matter the class and build. HP too low, damage is missing.
Grava desperately needed his burst damage abilities heavily nerfed, but I think the overall nerf was too much. At the moment Gabal is a harder challenge, and it shouldn’t be this way.
Gabal has higher OA than Grava, and hits hard indeed, but that’s all and by no means is a bigger menace all considered. I had faced and beaten Grava with different characters before patch and what i notice now is that the overall damage he does is indeed lower and annihilation orbs now are slow as snalis, but is still a strong nemesis, probably still stronger than any other besides, maybe and for some builds, maiden with the wrong weapon. I agree that Kupa has been (too?) heavily nerfed though, he was the strongest before (certainly the most annoying), now i find Iron Maiden more dangerous than him.
Kupa’s breath still hurts like hell, so there’s that.
Grava is still strong as fuck. My DK has over 3k DA and decent Armor with overcapped resists - he can still shred through all of this, including Stone Form. The sheet shows 5k damage taken - I call bullshit.
I did not even get the chance to fight him on ultimate you cry babies!Kupa does not deserve this overnerf. I want to be challenged with bosses but I guess the thrill is no more:furious:
Everyone had been nerfed at least once. Ol’ Loggo for example used to be a real challenge.
If you want thrill just wait for the new Crucible update and dive yourself into 3 Grava’s, see how it goes.
If you didn’t get to fight him in ultimate then you have no right to call anyone “cry babies” as you’re ignorant as to why everyone wanted him nerfed. He was way overtuned before and now he got overnerfed. Balancing stuff to near perfection takes time. Feedback is what helps it. It is the feedback that helped improve Ravager AI apparently as he was being taken down way too easily by some builds (so I’m told atleast).
People were calling for nerfs to him because the fight was very tedious, tough opponents are fine but tedious ones aren’t. If you want to fight him so badly then revert back to the old patch and enjoy the tedium
I think I’ll just wait for Crucible 2.0 for now, heard it will be even more rewarding. May be I’ll finally complete that damn Belgothian set everyone else is having fun with.
People complaining about Kuba being overnerfed, but I can easily see how much of a problem 2+ Kubas will be in the crucible, unless they give him the Moomoo treatment.
Well to be fair I haven’t tried him on a non-cheese character. The low kill time made me think this was the case
Don’t blame me, I need to farm shit. For some reason game thinks its funny to stick Stonehide prefix on Redeemer pants and give me Tough prefix on Kuba’s Pants (yeah fuck you too game)
Kuba still feels harder than older Nemeses but not by much. And no, he wasn’t over nerfed, he’s fine as it is now.
His regular punches can still remove around 40% of my Spellbinder health and she has over 14k health. Not to mention how it gets hectic as shit when the small Kubas are running around. They might deal less damage but they can still rack damage up fast if you decide to take them all at once.
you must be so much better at this game than me lol. i have a couple of toons that can crawl all the way through gladiator and kuba is still WAAAAAAAAAAAAY harder than anything in there. i have to kite forever to have any chance; my tankiest toons can’t stand anywhere near him.
Nemesis bosses aren’t even worthy to be called loot pinatas because the loot from their troves sucks. The only reason you might want to fight them now is their pants/shoulders.
I have long ago discovered that people who use little anime girls as avatars are best not argued with. That is not an argument you will ever win.
Speaking of which, I uploaded my avatar yesterday and it still does not show up. You have to hit certain reputation levels, like in the game, to use an avatar, or what?
At least one person here agrees with me. Your statement is null.
Which doesn’t have anything to do with the topic at hand at all. Nice deflecting. It isn’t from anime, by the way, shows how ignorant you are stereotyping.
Looks like anime, and yes, I am stereotyping. I have been on english message boards since the 2000 or so, after a while from a few posts you can gain insight into what sort of person one is. The ones who reply “No it isn’t” constantly to every argument the other side brings up are the ones I ignore and never argue with. My post was directed at the people who still waste their time arguing with you in vain.
