The Bullshit that is Kupacabra - Demonstration

He is virtually impossible for pet build, as your dumb pets will heal him to full in a second while your entire pet team gets wiped. Even worse when he splits.

Try to kill him with melee or retaliation and then come back. My DEE Witchblade and BWC Sorcerer shit on the life of Mad Queen but that doesn’t mean others builds don’t have trouble killing her.

Lol

Sorry, don’t get me wrong but I find it funny for some reason. Pet AI never fails to make me laugh.

The thing that confuses me the most is, that kucacabra is the easiest/earliest nemesis you unlock and it is one of the strongest ones/ if not the strongest one.

shrug its not like any nemesis is a problem to me. Don’t even need to have max resistances to beat them.

You got issues with reading comprehension.

He was trying to imply that my build has weaknesses other the crucible which is simply not the case.

That’s not even remotely what i meant. I meant, try to kill Kubacabra with a melee or retaliation build and then come back here. Then you’ll understand how a lot of people have issues with this Nemesis.

For all the people complaining about fighting him with pet builds, it’s actually pretty easy once you understand how he works. Just run around in circles! He’ll either chase you or your pets (probably you, since the most dangerous enemies have a strong aggro preference for you over pets in this game) and they won’t stand in the pools healing him and/or dying in 5 seconds flat. It took me quite a few deaths to kill him due to cramped quarters and learning how his mechanics work but I think I’ll find it easier than Moose next time.

Moosilake is a piece of cake if you cap freeze resist (or drink potion for it). And he doesnt have as much HP/damage as AoM nemesises.

Those idiot heal pools make the fight last a day with melee chars, and the clones of him create multi SAME shit pools for 2x quicker, yes seems pretty balance:eek:.

Don’t know which Moosilauke you are fighting, but the one i fight has as much health as any other Nemeses. To be exact, every Nemeses has the same amount of health and i swear Moosilauke has the same health as a Nemesis for each form.

Kuba’s damage is actually not that high, i can tank him better than, well, Moosilauke. The problem are his blood pools that make his fight tedious and boring. And tedious and boring is the last thing you want a boss to be.

Oh, i forgot to mention that almost every my build has 2x Sanctified Bone (because it’s really awesome) and Revenant constellation (+39% damage to undead). May that was the reason why i kill Moosilake so quickly.

Kupacabra’s damage is higher than Moosilake’s or any other non-AoM nemesis (maybe, Iron Maiden can come close though). And his “healing pools” plus 2x splits into two make a fight with him far too long. And in tight “cave-like” environment kiting him properly is near-impossible. Also, he heals not just self, but also all other mobs, so if you happen to pull few golems or heroes, they all will chase you too and heal up all the time, if there is little space for kiting.

Funny, i can facetank moosi 99% of times without kiting at all on my bwc sorc which is not even that tanky. But kupa kills me usually in 1 breath attack on all three characters i’ve tried to kill it on. I didn’t find his healing to be a problem, just the damage.

God, it took awhile but it wasn’t a terrible fight, just extremely tedious. It wasn’t too bad until he split into two and I had to kite for the rest of the fight because of the healing pools. Did it as a 2hand forcewave tactician invested heavily into physical and trauma damage. Glad I killed it but wish the reward was significantly better.

the most frustrating part of him for me, if you encounter him on vet/elite where your character is still mostly “in progress” is that you have to die right where you find him if you want to skip him.

Because even on a movespeed cap build he’s faster then you and chases you to the end of the world.

Yes i encountered him Southeast to barrowholm and he literally chased me down through barrowholm almost all the way to the ugdenbog rift.

and then he stood there in an even worse spot to encounter him on my fresh grave.

really annoying having to exit the session and go back in to get him out when doing the quests around ugdenbog.

out of all nemesis he’s the hardest to skip for me

Nag nag nag … at least he (she, it?!) drops usefull stuff.

See? :stuck_out_tongue:

I just found out from yestorday his pool Heals any other Hero or Boss monster near him.

And he can Spawn in undergrowth…

Properly geared necro/occ pet build kills Kuba with no additional efforts.

Please, please give us a video of how you pwned him as a summoner you professional gamer you.
