Hi, returning player from ~end of may I think. Last I left off I was following the lightning squishy build and having a pretty good time of it but it seems it is outdated now. I have most of the gear for any of the builds you listed, both conjurer and cabalist but I dont have any of the bysmiels trinkets items. Whats my best bet until I manage to get a hold of those?

Hm… I don’t remember the exact build you mentioned. But if you can give the GT link, I can try to simply give you an updated version if you wish.

Questions for the resident zookeeper.

  1. Ravens autoattack - does it scale with attack speed or cast speed?

  2. Pet skills (like Blight Burst, Ground Slam or Lightning Strike) - is their cooldown affected by cdr?

  3. Skeleton mages - do they deal vitality/phys like other skeletons?

  4. What’s your take on Mend Wounds currently? Does it slow down Ravens’ dps?

  1. Cast Speed apparently, since Birbs don’t exactly have an auto attack and it is just a spammable spell with WD :frowning:
  2. Not afaik.
  3. Good question, but either Dammitt needs to add their stats to the Pet-DB or someone who has looked through the game files need to chime in before I can answer with any confidence.
  4. I don’t notice any notable dps difference. However, I did notice a massive decrease in survivability on my Will O Wisp Cabalist when I removed Mend Flesh, so the healing definitely works.

Hi Maya, this guide is absolutely awesome, but could I also ask for a non-Zippyshare link? Zippy appears to have gotten itself blocked in the UK and several EU countries (or blocked itself there, no one is actually entirely sure what is going on, and they won’t respond to tech journalists queries about it)

Also, for future cases, VPN should do the trick. You don’t even need a 3rd party one. Opera browser comes with its own for eg.

Hi Maya, I just started out with no gear and following your budget Conjurer build. After I finished it, where should I farm (and what can the budget build farm reliably) to get those final gear in the main build? I’m aiming the Sanguine Lupus one. Thanks!

You need Cooldown reduction too (off-hands mostly) I have 3 sec CD on Blightfiends.

Shattered Realm 60+ on Normal Difficulty should be easy enough. Do 2 Shards and then cash out. So for eg: 60-61 or 65-66 or 70-71 etc.

Also don’t worry about the timer running out or dying. The only difference that makes is 2 less chests at the end as reward.

I’m afraid I must leave Bysmiel’s embrace since Her grace has abandoned me, for I didn’t found even a single piece of Her trinkets in two weeks of 3h/day SR farming, plus leveling time of EoR archon to 100, plus farming time of full Dark One’s and Krieg’s sets. Besides, it’s a pity this set has no craftable part so there’s no “starting point” to craft->transmute path.
Sanguine Lupus it is, then. Mogdrogen, ya ol’ doggo, here I come.

Ok, so the budget builds had to be changed a bit due to the 1.1.5.0 patch nerfing Empowered Beronath amulet. Other than that, everything should be more or less the same :yum:

Haven’t really played it much yet. Between all the holiday season stuff going on, real life etc, haven been on Cairn in a while. Will probably make a thread for it once it is finished :yum:
