I like to play the summoner class from time to time in GD, and I noticed that the Occultist class was somewhat lacking in pet summoning items. For example, Necromancers have the Dirge of Arkovia artifact, while Shamans have the Mythical Heart of the Mountain. These items summon an additional pet. However, the Occultist class does not have any such items, with the exception of Salazar’s Sovereign Blade, which summons a temporary pet. What if we added a new artifact or amulet to the game that could summon a demon? Among the Chthonians, there are many interesting enemies that could be added as pets. With the changes to Nature’s Call Regalia in patch 1.3, it would be possible to create a small army of demons and play as a completely different summoner.

GD Reborn 3.0 for v1.2.1.6 h1 Mod did this if I remember correctly. I had a player-scaled pet for all classes with an Obsidian Defiler for Occultist, you could spawn “demons” from Doom Bolt and summon a Gargoyle:
It looks cool, but I’d prefer the winged demon they added in Malmuth, which resembles Grava’Thul.
