The friendly summoner

This build that I’ve recently came up with isn’t optimised in the sense of what is the absolute best skills to go for or best devotions. Instead it is a build for people like me who struggle a lot with playing builds that have a lot of keys. The whole point is to make sure almost not key presses are needed except the ocasional summoning and 2 spells for buffs/debuffs.

Active Skills - Curse of Frailty; Ravenous Earth
Permanent Summoning Skills - Raise Skeletons; Summon Blight Fiend; Summon Familiar; Summon Hellhound
Passive Skills - Master of Death; Bonds of Bysmiel

Grim Tools Link - Cabalist, Level 100 (GD 1.2.1.2) - Grim Dawn Build Calculator

Again, this is not optimised especially in the devotions department as it is the hardest one for me to lock in and get the right options. What i tried to do with the devotions was get some pet bonus as well as leech on the toad. Bat is there to give some extra leech to the skeletons given that they are always squishy and die more often, this hopefully keeps them alive longer which lowers the stress. Wayward and Behemoth for some survivability. Fiend actualy turns out to be good for the hellhounds as a damage buff and it also bufs a lot the fire damage of pets overall. Shepard’s call and Bysmiel’s command for pet buffs/ extra pet. I chose ravenous earth as a skill to be used on because I am hoping the dot will guarantee it goes off which makes it easier for me to use less keys though Bone Harvest is technically a better skill because of Soul Harvest, again my problem here is that I have more casts to do but I may change it.

I maxed Manipulation for it’s HUGE buff to pets above all others and picked Master of Death as my second buff to raise because it gives both attack and defenses to the minions.

I also maxed the hellhound and familiar auras as that will apply to everyone and i also maxed the infernal breath on the hellhound because it has good clearing (not mandatory cause there are enough minions for clearing to be a non issue) and because it reduces enemy damage. Might be better invest to use those points for master of death so everyone just does more damage overall though.

The build is pivoted towards elemental damage on the pets. I did this to get maximum effect out of the pet auras.

And that is that. I’m sure this can be improved and I welcome suggestions to improve the build however I will only accept suggestions which keep in mind that the whole point of the build is to be using the least amount of skill possible and I’m not confortable with more than 2 active skills (on top of the potions and the dodge which i didn’t pick an augment for the medal since dodge is perfectly fine but I’m willing to hear about options here too).

EDIT 1: Removed Call of the Grave (put the point in Master of Death) because I don’t want a 3rd active skill. Removed Turtle since I have no passive skill left and spectral binding is not worth it (Technically there is Mogdrogens Ardor but only once you have the item) and added Typhos for some extra damage on the pets.

This one is not passive  it’s a temporary skill that you need to activate manually. Lasts 10s and has a cooldown of 24s.

You’re right, I always forget that is an active, welp, changes will be made and that will have to come out of the build.
