Hi everyone, I recently did a run-through of The Hidden Path at level 100 (as I normally do) to collect the extra skill point. This time, I was only giveen 1 skill point for Ultimate difficulty but I wasn’t given any for Elite or Normal difficulties. I checked the patch updates but couldn’t find anything. Also Googled it and couldn’t find. Anyone else having this issue? Thanks
Did you use a merit stone to get to ultimate difficulty?
I had this problem by using Ultimate Difficulty Tokens, haven’t used any Tokens since.

Is this a bug or intended?
The merit tokens will give you any skill points, attribute points and inventory bags that you would have received through quests in earlier difficulties. If you then go back and do those quests, they won’t reward them again.

If you use the merit, you instantly get the skill points you’d normally get by doing the quest in normal/veteran and elite. So yeah, working as intended.

To add to toapeiron’s answer, you get the rewards for doing those quests, but you havn’t technically completed the quests which means that GrimTools’ checklist won’t mark those as “done”.
so I guess this is not bugged then. time to use them merits
