I’ve watched the Mad Queen Video and I was very intrigued by how fast she kills herself. I tried reflection on her a long time ago and I didn’t get anywhere near the results you got.
If I use maxed Mirror of Eroctes on her for exaample she hardly damages herself when she activates her retaliation aura. Is the absorption from it interfereing? I thought it shouldn’t since the reflect damage is calculated prior to your defences.
It’s primarily the retaliation that damages her in the vid.
She seems to take the most damage when her aura activates and he does not seem very focused on retaliation damage. I mean she goes down really fast.
I can KILL her even more faster，the video is old one.The theory is she has a very powerfull revenging skill when she is red.When you hit the red queen just once,she will payback you five times more.The skill has no CD,a large number hits will case huge number payback attacks.But each payback attack case low dmg,i can take the dmg with shield then reflect it.
Retaliation and Damage reflect is not a Effective attack，they can activate nothing，thats why you cant kill her faster.Use maxed Mirror of Eroctes on her when she activates her retaliation aura is not enough，you should hit her by plenty of times to activate the payback attacks.I used Guardians eye to activated her revenging skill then reflect it.Its very dangerous,so i untied Guardians eye when i met her in Crucible.But then i found out i was worrying too much. Thanks for the explanation. The thing is that I did use attacks to activate her revenge skills. I know how her red aura revenge skill works. I also tried this with 100% shield recovery. Had 30 hammers swirling around her and I still died with Overguard and Bulwark maxed. If i survived it was luck.
And plaiyng a shield character with DAwnguard + stormcaller pact instead of Bulwark is even worse because you don’t have the % damage to life resist and absorm and procs like reckless tempest make har revenge skill go crazy and killl you. Basically you can’t use the things that mae your build strong against her because you will kill yourself in 2 seconds.
This is why i’m surprised your character can take the punishment while pissing off her revenge aura like that with only menhir’s will as circuit breaker AND with Fevered rage cast on her which is insane really given that she also buffs your DA in half.
You know the shield block chance is also very important.Her each payback attack cant break shield block，and with the Overguard you can boost SRT to -100%.The only thing you need is a high shield block chance. DO not activate her with Targos hammer,it will case chain reaction!You can`t control the number of the payback attacks,even i will be dead by doing that.
Maxed Mirror of Eroctes is the simple way to deal with Mad Queen.
At last,expelling fever rage leads to no damage reflection

The theory with hammers was to create a chain reaction of so many hammers that it would kill her. To be fair when I tried this i did not have Markovian Distinction (MArkovian Forterss at 4/5) so no perma Overguard. I will try this suicidal theory again today :). Totally forgot about this.
As for may Storm Pact Dawnbreaker build. I’ve yet to find a way. i will craft the Avenger relic (am using Eye of the Storm at the moment) which will have huge damage and I also need the dawnbreaker amulet. For reckless tempest I think i’ll try what you posted with the video above. Control her retaliation by going around that pillar in the room to the right.
PS: About mindwarp. I am interested because i made a build myself with Temporal Arcblade that has two variants. It aslo takes around 1 min to kill Fabius in vanilla. I have some videos just need to upload them some time.
Edit: By the way was the trick to mindwarp build swapping from shield to dual wield to get perma aether conversion from mindwarp?
yeah，i found out the same skill in same hand shared recharging.The skill of mindwarp has 14s cd and 6s Duration,and it begin to recharge just been activated.If i activate the skill without mindwarp in off-hand,when skill buff is over i switch to Dual wielding with mindwarp.Then activated mindwarp by off-hand,two buffs lasted 12s，and only have 2s without buff in the loop.I just need continue attacking enemy to keeping the loop.
