No clue if it’s a bug or not, but why would I need gold to sell items.
On some maps gaining gold is hard and the need for gold to sell goods you’ve produced seems a little weird to me.
Welcome to the forum.
You don’t, you need gold to buy items. If a trader comes that doesn’t want anything you produce how are you going to buy from them if you have no gold at the trading post?
This is a bug and I had the same issue.
If you have 0 gold at your trading post after creating it it won’t let you sell anything, even if you have wares. If you click the sell/buy button it tells you you don’t have any money and doesn’t open the window that allows you to sell. I guess the game only allows you to open the sell/buy window if you have 0< gold or something?
I solved it by taking money I gained from taxes and transferred it to the trading post and suddenly it let me sell stuff.
Weird. Not heard that bug before.
Pretty much this, after the first trade it let you do that but after the build, you will need some gold to initiate the first trade.
Thankyou. This has been driving me crazy! That’s a bad bug in a pretty good game.
