I love GD but honestly the pet AI is extremely poor in this game. Not sure what was fixed in the hotfix but my skeleton archers are still the same. When I order them to attack something, they will just start shooting if in range, despite having a barrier between them and the enemy. This is happening in both dungeons and open world. Melee attackers are alright but the range ones are atrocious in terms of AI. It’s quite annoying to play the necromancer pet builds at the moment and I was wondering if there are any patches on the way to finally fix the pet AI bug, once and for all. #MakePetsGreatAgain
Some of the places where this is most noticeable:
- Wightmire. If an enemy is on the other side of the wall, the skeletons will simply keep shooting in the wall, instead of moving to a better position like the melee ones.
- Most dungeons. Skele archers will demonstrate their marksmanship art on the wall instead on the flesh of the foes.
And last but not least, it would be great if skele will move around when there’s one or many heavy AoE under their foot.
