I’m friends with her on a site called goodreads.com (basically facebook for books.) of Course she is a huge fantasy reader and unless i’m wrong which I could be she writes her own reviews etc and responds to fans. I’ll try posting on her wall have to think of how I’m going to do that considering it’s a book site ha.

A shame 90% of the people in that thread state the game looks good but D3 is here so they don’t want to contribute :(. As much as I’ll enjoy D3 I just wish some people realized there are many games out there not just one.
I wish Grim Dawn had the 600,000 pre orders like D3 has…

gamebanshee is epic … thats the way i learned about crate and grim dawn a while ago…
I started using gamebanshee when I was playing TQ. For me it was the go-to page for item information and such. Nowadays their twitter is a nice catch-all rpg news feed.
Titan Quest sold over a million copies right? Yet we only have 4100 backers…where is everyone!?

I received an email newsletter today from TitanQuest.net… and uhh… no mention of Grim Dawn or its Kickstarter campaign were mentioned at all…
I must say I am shocked. I would have thought that newsletter would have been shouting from its rooftops (or at least via large banner and article) that TQ fans need to support this project.
Is there some animosity between the newsletter’s author and Crate Entertainment or something? I’d think Titan Quest fans who signed up for the newsletter would be the first people you would contact for pledges.
That’s exactly how I felt. And with a user base of what? 80,000 that would be INSANE. Even if a good 75k are inactive I still receive their emails and look at them.
I would have thought the biggest number of kickstarter supporters would have come from TitanQuest.net…we really need to tap into the 80,000 members stat!
Yeah, well, it is too digged in the several subsections…so it’s like non-existant there… =/
If only it was possible to place the Kickstarter banner on the main page or something. =) Would it hurt anyone to contact the forums owner to place it there? It is not THQ’s property, is it?
Keep an eye out for the next edition… The current edition was already complete when they were approached.
Again, the owners of the forums have been approached, and hopefully a positive decision will be forthcoming.
