I was looking through item database and found pistol Arcanum Sigillis. I wonder if it is possible to use this item efficiently on DW sorc(or other gunslinging char).

I don’t know if cadence works well with dual wield. I wonder if weapon itself is good enough to make build around it… 
not for dw but it will be good with will of the living
Yeah…good for kiting Fabius for at least 2 minutes, getting sodomized and then coming to the GD Forums to complain that pistol + shield Battlemage is trash.
@OP: you are living in a time of 200k+ crits Witchblades, 30k/tick AAR Warlocks, 200k+ DoTs Warders and Witch Hunters. Arcanum is a bad item ! Get over it ! There is no fun in playing a trash tier 3 build no matter how much swag it has.
actually i dont like op builds i like trying new thing even if i am failed. when my tries are succesfull enough then i get bored and try a new trash things 
Fabius ? pfft…, try Iron maiden, she will blitz your ass till you rage quit :rolleyes: . At least with Fabius you can kite. I’ve given up optimizing my gunslinger pyro because of this.
EDIT : And don’t even think of doing crucible with anything pyro (at least my build) when you have both Fabius and Iron maiden.
Love how you think your opinion is Gospel and anyone who doesn’t agree with you is wrong. I’ve never hit 200k crits, never seen 200k dot ticks nor player an AAR build. Yet I still found over 2500 hours of fun with the game, playing it how I saw fit. Never worrying about what was supposedly good.
You are right ! Everybody can play whatever they want as the purpose of the game revolves primarily around the idea of having FUN. Following “cookie-cutter” OP builds does indeed suck the fun out of the game in the end. However, there are 250+ legendary items in this game and Arcanum Sigilis is one of the worst.
Casters will not take it because they need resistance reduction, not a low-damage AoE; while gunslingers have a ton of other, better options. Can you incorporate the Arcanum into a functional build such as a DW Sorc or pistol + shield Battlemage ? Sure you can. If the OP wants to play it he shouldn’t care about the performance issue or what other ppl tell him. Still, the OP should also know that some high-end game content will be borderline impossible to beat with that setup.
Thank you for your opinion I was just looking for interesting items to build around and i wanted to know if this item is good enough to put effort in building character that uses it. I was looking for something diffrent than OP builds but if it can’t clear late game I don’t want to waste my time on it
I reckon it’s an interesting challenge and may not be a total write off. The dots will stack nicely and the elemental + aether damage is an neat combo. It does suffer from a really limited selection of resistance reduction itemisation.

it’s definitely doable I think. You’ll probably be able to clear 95% of the game’s content on ultimate difficulty. Rather than making a build that can effortlessly stomp everything, I think the most fun part of Grim Dawn is making workable builds based around underused items. Go for it!
