Hey, grinninglich, thanks for reading my suggestions and for this long post explaining everything.

The filters you added for Mount & Blade are nice and surely they will be useful for the other games when you add to them.

For TQ:IT you shouldn’t need that many filters, all mods are made to work on the latest versions and the fanpatch doesn’t break the mods. But, as said, I really like to see a full list on a single page instead of having to click the next page buttons. Since you have already categorized TQ mods and guides, providing those links for people accessing the site would be nice.

Anyway, I am not a web designer, but you are, so do what you thinks it’s best!:wink:

E-mail sent yet again. I’ve asked them to let me know if they have closed it permanently, but whether they’ll bother to or not is anyone’s guess.

My only other thought was that perhaps the server got trashed with all the bad weather in the States, but if that was the case I wouldn’t be able to reach iEntry’s website either. :undecided:

Now you talk about it, maybe thats it ? the bad weather/ hurricane passing around there, maybe thats they dont answer at all.

hmm the site went down more then a week before the bad weather so i would find it odd, though it might be a reason it takes longer still not the only reason i am afraid.

I would like to think so sauruz, but don’t really believe that’s the case. I was checking on their server location the other week and they have several IP addresses there so if it was that I would expect that iEntry’s website would be down as well which it isn’t.

And unfortunately they rarely reply, though I assume my e-mails have been noted since the site usually gets put back up again when it’s gone down. But I rarely have confirmation of that. :frowning:

It’s ashame that it’s not accessible right now. Personally was starting to enjoy it.

Oh I am following this thread, Mountainblade, just got nothing to say that wouldn’t result in a couple pages of stuff…and I feel bad polluting this thread about LoC stuff.

I just want to thank Medea for all the effort to get the forum back, even if it never does come back.

EDIT: One thing I can’t keep in, dod you know that you can add plain-text addendums to animations in TQ at the end of the file and it works? I thought it had to result in the same amount of characters but that’s just for the actual animation of the mesh, the text stuff like “RightHandHit” and more importantly "CreateEntity to attack particle effects , the animation doesn’t care…so I created an animation for the player to shoot fire breath and replaced that skill in Earth I hate so much with a real wave skill called Inferno like in D2. Also gave Frostmarrow a frost breath skill he shoots from his hands.

I’m on holiday for the next 2 weeks so if anyone fancies contacting iEntry about it go to their website and under About Us you’ll find a Contact Us section - send your complaint/plea/query about the site and who knows - maybe by the time I’m back the site will be too.

How do you follow a thread or did you simply mean that you just look at this thread daily?

I think BG just means he checks here fairly regularly to try and find out what’s going on with the TQ.net site since there’s no info elsewhere.

Ah okay. I was thinking it was something like some other forums where it sends notifications to your gmail when someone comments.

Yes, you can do that as well. Under Options in your Account Settings you can choose to have e-mail notifications and how often it happens.

Any updates or are they still quiet about the issue?

Few days ago I’ve installed Destinies on TQIT. I can play the game, but problem comes when I want to farm. For unknown reason my game just exit to desktop without any warning and its one way game for now. Any idea why is like that?

Description about installation:

Readme: destinymod 1.04

This mod will replace the nine classic masteries with nine new ones.
Using this mod is for own risk. You need the IT Expansion pack to play this mod.
Feel free to improve the mod yourself to make it better. You find a downloadlink for the records at titanquest.net

How To Install:
1.Extract the destinymod.zip file (when reading this, you might already have done that).
2.Use the installers to change the game mode between ‘normal’ ‘xmax’ ‘Achilles’ and ‘m4ssboss3s’
3.Put the ‘destinymod’ folder which was in the .zip file int the following directory: MyGames\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\CustomMaps
If this is the first mod you play, simply create a new folder in MyGames\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne and name it ‘CustomMaps’ and put the destinymod folder inside.
4.Launch TQIT. In the main Menu, select ‘Custom Game’. Choose destinymod ~ destiny.map and press the button ‘Start’, no matter with which cahacter.
Doing thi will return you to the ‘Play Titan Quest’ menu.
5.Now, create a NEW character. Do not use your old characters while destinymod is active, or else all your skills will disappear.
Do not use a destinymod character unless you activated the mod in the custom game menu, else your character will lose all his\her skills.
Load the destinymod everytime before you play with a destinymod character.

If you loaded a character in the wrong game mode, use SoulSeekor’s TQDefiler to fix the character. But items existing only in the Mod will be lost afterwards.
You can also use this tool to convert a ‘normal’ Character into a destinymod Character and vice versa.

As explained in description, I created in CustomMaps new folder “destinymod”, copied both from installation folder “database” and “resources” there, then changed language to English and used m4ssboss3s difficulty. Everything is going fine for now exception is when loading the game for the 2nd time, going back means that the game will crush at some point. At first I thought it is something related with exact place on the map, but its only related when going back to farm.
Now what I noticed is how “destinymod.arz” from database in CustomMaps is smaller - 2.181kb , than in installation folder - 4.625kb, which is probably normal thing, but 2nd thing that I noticed is in SaveData/Sys my other custom maps are in folder with winsys.dxg and winsys.dxb, but there are as well 2 the same named files outside of folders, for which I believe how it can be the reason why the game is crushing. I’m not sure will I fix my game if I add folder with name destinymod in Sys.
Thoughts?

efko, which version are you playing? The disc or Anniversary Edition? Have you got the Bugfix Fanpatch and spectre’s Patch for the Patch installed if using the disc version? Have you set the programme compatibility to XP SP1 (SP3 for AE) and tried running as Administrator?

I’ve never had that issue… but I never used the “massbosses” mod either, playing the disk version.

its steam version ? because LOC mod its same thing, sometimes when you relog its inst crash into desktop
