[Tool] GD save file editor

I have the same error right now. Maybe I need toot set up the program properly
I get the error even when just launching the program:

PS Thanks a lot for the tool! This is going to be incredible for build makers and min-maxers.

Oops! Looks like I might have used the ā€œwrongā€ version of java to compile the program. Can you grab the new version (same link as usual) and try again?

Works now, thanks for a quick fix!

[edit] I see the relic completion bonus is wrong but it’s no biggie

Alrighty! Looking into this with WyreZ. We may or may not be able to set the completion bonus properly. We’ll see!

Hey! Good news!

A new version has been released! When creating a character using the getgrimdawn tool, the editor will now attach the right completion bonus!

Big thanks to @WyreZ for doing a bunch of work to make this possible!

Hi, my save files duplicated in editor

@YiSValkirye

Hi there,

Did this just start happening with the new version?

Just wondering if I broke something recently?

sorry, i used only this version, i can check old version if you have link.

Hi there,

I might have identified why this happens? Here’s a version with a fix. Please let me know if this works for you. =)

thank you, i resolved problem. It’s windows 11 bug with documents folder duplicate in system. I losed all my saves, but resolved

thanks works great so far.
since i created a template from a char that has completed ultimate to play all sorts of builds in SR, i was able to reset all stats to 0, except nemesis kills. did i miss it or is it missing?
not that important, just everything else is there and ocd ocd ocd. OCD!

OCD

Hi there!

What do you mean by nemesis kills? Do you mean the faction reputation haven’t been zeroed?

in GDstash is a ā€œnemesis killedā€ statistic

nemesis

Hmm!

You might want to update to the latest version. =)
Here’s what I’m getting from GDStash after creating a new character with version:
ā€œgd-edit 0.2.419 [build 51c5b98]ā€

using the gd-edit-standalone from few posts above (0.2.420)

i’m not creating a new character. i created a empty template from a existing char which has completed ultimate and all quests. then i used GDstash to reset stuff, and gd-edit for everything that was not possible with stash.
and yes, i haven’t looked that much into gd-edit, maybe the thing i did is possible when creating a new char with gd-edit?

Sorry, I’m still not super clear what the question is. Let me try to describe what I think you’re asking…

You’re copying an existing character and when trying to zero all/most of the stats fields, you cannot figure out how to zero the ā€œNemesis killedā€ count using gd-edit.

If that’s what you’re asking…
Please try this command:

> show kills

             Boss-kills : collection of 3 items
         champion-kills : 410
  experience-from-kills : 4409203
             hero-kills : 310
<... omitted ...>

Just do what you will with these fields. To zero a specific field, you can do this, for example:

set champion-kills 0

Hope that helps =)

ok got it, thanks. and yes that was what i was asking ^^

Boss-kills : collection of 3 items

was the hint i needed, since this is a collection i missed this i guess.
set all 3 collection entries to 0 now stash shows 0 nemesis killed

in case others looking for the same:

set boss-kills/0 0
set boss-kills/1 0
set boss-kills/2 0
