[Tool] GD Stash

Thanks you bros, it work well now  have a nice day

I believe you have to check the “also copy soulbound items” to find those items in search.

Is this fine?

no, that allows the transfer between chars, he wanted to transfer from vanilla to a mod. That will never work because the items are in two separate databases.

yes, as good as it gets

Thanks,I have one more question about Char Editer. When i decrease Attribute Points form character it will left 1 point it can’t be 0 right?

The values you start out with are actually 50 for all three attributes. As long as you use the + and - buttons, the tool will take care of the restrictions and dependencies. If you edit the value directly, you are on your own, ie you can set the total higher than you have available points, health does not get adjusted etc.

yes, if the soulbound flag is not set, the items will only show up in the Char Transfer page and for the char that found them.
Once you have that flag set they will show up for any char and for the stash.

So select the vanilla DB but the mod’s stash or a mod-char (chars are not mod specific) and place the items on them. That way you have them in whichever mod you want.

You will not find the items in the mod’s database however, as that is a separate DB, only in the vanilla one. That is what my first reply referred to, I assumed the rest was clear, but maybe I was wrong on that

Yeah my mistake it’s 50. I push - button but it stuck at 58. Don’t know why.

Thx a lot guys. It is appreciated a lot

Are you using an old version ? had a logic issue there for a while, but that should have been resolved some time ago.

If you do, please update, if not, I will have to take another look

I used 1.0.9a version. Download today.

e.g.

Will have to check that, set the two to 50, give yourself two points and set health and mana to 250 each

Thanks for help.

For some reason I cannot set my “Save Game Directory” to anything except “Documents\My Games\Grim Dawn\save\DAIL”. If I try to change it, I get a “Wrong Directory” error. Pictures included.

the tool checks for a transfer.gst/gsh file in the save dir.

Make sure you have one in save (without the DAIL).

That worked. Thank you.

When trying to edit the level of a character that I had already created, it shows that the xp has been altered in GD stash, and saves the fact that the level has changed, but does not change the level of the character in game. I have the cloud disabled, and moved my chars over to the local files.

Are you talking about the char overview screen ? That does not automatically get updated, because the game does not expect that data to change outside of it.
If you load the char it should have the right level (does for me).

If you load the char and it does not have the right level, please make sure you edited the right char, i.e. that the save dir in GD Stash is not the cloud save one, now that you use local saves.

So I checked for the stash as well, it looks like what is done on GD stash is not transferring over to the game itself. When I am in GD stash, I will pull up a character and the stats in GD stash show that the character is level 20, while in game it shows him at lvl 6, the same level as before I changed anything. After hitting save character, is there anything else I should be doing in GD stash that would make it so the info isn’t transferred?

This also goes for the stash in game. When I added things to the stash via GD stash, nothing changed in game.
