[Tool] GD Stash

Hi Again:

Hate to be a pain but I’m obviously doing something wrong here. All 3 of the chars I played yesterday are no longer accessible today using the tool. It works fine on my others. Am I supposed to do something before I leave game? At this rate it will soon not function at all. Any way to fix this? Uninstall/Reinstall?

TIA

Getting the same kinds of messages as the post above me: Version not supported etc. Wondering if this might have something to do with the patch?

download the latest GD Stash version, the save file format changes are newer than the version you use

1.0.3.0 changed the save file format, download the latest version of GD Stash to get support for it

ah Thanks bud, you’re the best!

wht JRE to use -i still get the error from my previous post - to use it i had to rerun config from scratch every time starting it ( win 10 64 bir and jre 9 )

every rerun after got this imgur.com/a/AJokK - to run it i had to clean C:\users<username>\GDStash and run setup ;/

Version 1.2.2c released

  • minor fixes & tweaks

Darn it, mamba, I only installed 1.2.2a yesterday. Now I’ve got to do it again.

not sure why you get this in the first place, it has nothing to do with your JRE version however.

The .ini file stores the window position and size, and your window size is bogus. Fix it in the .ini or delete the .ini and start over, which seems to be what you did

Once you fixed it, the issue should not return however, so not sure what is going on there. Try running the tool in full screen, I believe the size info is then ignored

Do i put this in grim dawn folder or mods folder inside the grim dawn folder?

You can put it where you want, it doesn’t have to be in the games folder or mods folder.

Strange, I made sure to try that out, grabbed the newest 1.2.2b. Well, I’ll try ~c and let you know. Cheers!

E: Oh, I see what I did. I had the 1.2.0 previously downloaded and unzipped the wrong one. What a maroon.

Coud, you help me please? How to fix this?

by upgrading to the latest version

Hi Mamba,

First of all thank you for this tool which is really helpful to create and try high level build ideas.

I have a small problem, I unlocked all blueprints but i didn’t want it to affect my HC progression (I just wanted to unlock blueprints in SC).
Is there anyway i can go back to my old HC “blueprint collection” or am i screwed here?

Thanks.

yup.it.works.thx

as with everything else, the tool creates a backup first, there should be a formulas.h00 or so file. Delete the current HC formulas and rename that back to get your old blueprints again

I need help

Thank you it worked perfectly. For those interested in unlocking blueprints in SC but not in HC :

-Unlock all blueprints
-Go into your save folder
-Delete formulas.gsh then rename formulas.gsh.bak into formulas.gsh

HC blueprint collection is now back to what it was before and you have all blueprints in SC.

see the info messages

Use 64bit Java if you have a 64bit OS, otherwise use the .bat to start the tool. In that case, first make sure that the path to java.exe in the .bat matches where you installed Java

the .bak are GD backups. As long as GD did not create a new backup since you added the blueprints, that would also work. Otherwise it definitely needs to be formulas.h00 however
