not sure why you want to refresh items. You can delete the DB, including your stored items by deleting C:\users<username>\GDStash\db or db_<modname>
Is there easier way to get the legendaries from shared stash to clipboard. The current ones?
No, not sure why you would want to limit this to the items in your shared stash though.
Because that is where my items for sale are basically. So I need to be able to ârefreshâ the items that copy to clipboard after each play session or so. (Or if I trade something away)
And I donât use any other parts of the program.
Ah, apparently I was wrong when I thought I was using the updated version. It was sitting in my downloads folder this entire time. Issue is fixed now, sorry for being an idiot!
Im getting all this for some reason. I just cant for the life of me import database.
I cant post the picture but it says spacejava.lang.outofmmeory and extraction of items.arc failed.
guys can you share your items db save file so I can import to the db of gd stash? if its against the rules then nevermind
use 64bit Java if you have a 64bit OS, or start the tool via the .bat file (make sure the path to java.exe in it matches where you installed Java)
I get errors when importing database. Says a few tags are not found (think these are just the dead items). Plus it cant read two of my characters save files (long error code list).
yes, update to the latest version. The file format changed with 1.0.3.0 and your version does not support that
When I try to run the app after importing database
Java 9.0.1
Latest gdstash version 1.2.2c
Grim dawn 1.0.3.1
Hi,
Not sure if this is the right place to post this. I recently use GD stash (Version 1.2.2c Windows 32 bit executable from ModDB) to transfer my overflowing epic items from farming crucible and nemesis runs. I was able to successfully move my epic items to GD stash but when I switch to crucible and farm then move to see the smuggler. That is when I notice my shared stash got reset, it goes back to only 1 bag with no item in it (it was supposed to be 5 bags with the first bag full of components and crafting materials). I thought it was only in crucible but when I switch back to main campaign, it is the same only. My character stash did not reset, only the shared stash.
Please help. I want to retrieve the items on the first bag of the shared stash at least.
Thanks!
Are you using cloud save ? In that case do not change the stash with the tool while Grim Dawn is running. You can copy item into its DB, but not save the stash afterwards.
As to recovering your shared stash, the tool creates a backup of the file each time it saves it, transfer.t## with 00 being the most recent, 01 the one before that and so forth.
Rename that file back to transfer.gst to restore the original stash (again, without GD running at the same time if you use cloud save)
That is a curious one. The only thing I can think of is that your shared stash is corrupted. It should contain some size information and unless that is way off from what it should be, I cannot see how this would ever happen.
Can you post the stash you were trying to select ?
I have Win7 64bit and am using the batch file to run using the 64bit version of java and am still getting this error. Same error using 32bit java. Any suggestions on how to make it work?
That is a different error from the one where you would use the .bat or need 64bit Java. These are about running out of heap space.
Yours probably is about trying to read a char that was written with 1.0.3.x which changed the format, so unless you have a recent version of GD Stash it does not âunderstandâ the new format.
Download the latest version and use that.
EDIT: ok, interesting, you are on the current version, so it should be able to read it. This only leaves this as the char being a really old file format that you have not played in a long time. In that case, play it with GD, which should update it to the latest format (assuming it still supports that old version).
Ok that helped. Since iâm using Steam cloud saving, the default saves are years old and have never been updated. I guess I just need to point it to the GD directory in Steam.
Yup Iâm using cloud save. Got my shared stash back to normal. I thought I already lost all my components and crafting mats. THANK YOU!! Noted on not changing the stash with the tool while Grim Dawn is running
Maybe somebody is so kind and can help me out, i want to transfer my HC stash to softcore, but im not sure how to do it. I was able to just make my HC chars to SC in the char editor but im not sure on how to move the stash (and also maintain blacksmith blueprints).
