I’m getting this error.
just rename the transfer.gst to transfer.gsh, same for formulas.gst. There is nothing in these files that indicates SC or HC, unlike the char save files.
you did not get any errors, you got warnings which everyone gets. Everything worked correctly (see the success message).
ty for the fast reply
My save file
Yeah, the item positions in transfer.bst are screwed up. Unless you play vanilla GD without the expansion, you might as well delete the file however.
Thanks ,it works now.
Since the word “name” is too common I didn’t search the thread.
I can’t change the name of character succesfully (from GrenadoSorc to GrenadoElem). Stash changes the name, then I load the game and character is gone from the char list. He’s still in character list in stash, but I can’t see him in-game. Changing back to old name solves the issue.
Are you in GD while doing this ? GD buffers the char list, so it won’t notice the change until you start the game anew.
Never do this while using cloud save and having the game open.
I did close the GD inbetween changes, but I had cloud save on. A bit clunky (turned it off, game loaded very old local saves, replaced them with cloud save with changed char and loaded it), but everything’s fine now.
i cant get this to work. i already installed java. when i import database i get error: java heap spacejava.lang.outofmemoryerror.
ps. also getting many tags not found
any help?
Does it show like this pic. from here: http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?p=577066#post577066 !?
Then see the answer from mamba there …
can this be use for ashes of malmouth?
yes, just make sure to import the GD data again if you already use it, so it also imports the AoM item data
Question/suggestion about search criteria, I want to search for how many copies of an item I have. Don’t think this is currently possible. Similar to the item level boxes for example. I normally keep only two copies of epic items to avoid clutter, if I could search for any item with more than two stored copies that would be nice so I can easily clean up my collection.
Hello.
Today I installed the most recent version of your tool and tried to upload Grim Quest’s database. It failed. Have you got any idea what can be wrong with it?
I assume you got some error messages, without them I have no idea. It worked in the past, will have to try with the latest version.
The only one I could think of is heap size, which means you should use a 64bit Java.

yes, some images are bigger than the space I reserved for them in the DB. Will need to release a new version to fix that.
Hi Mamba, after the update I haven’t been able to change the iron bits through your tool. I would change the amount, save it and then in-game it will not change. When I go back to the tool I click refresh and receive errors.
