[Tool] GD Stash

Thanks for the prompt reply. I deleted the folder and re-imported successfully.

I can see my characters in the Char Editor, however the Stash Transfer tabs are still empty even after I reload. Am I still missing something? . Only recent change I recall is I bought Stash tab 5 and I hadn’t last time I played in Oct/Nov.

Edit: Char transfer works and I can see the stash there. The save stash option doesn’t seem to work though to load items back to the stash.

that is your shared stash, it should match what you see in game (definitely after you press ‘reload’)

Make sure you select the right shared stash (SC / HC, vanilla / mod)

Char transfer works and I can see the stash there. The save stash option doesn’t seem to work though to load items back to the stash.

On the char page you cannot save the char while playing it (or rather, doing so gets ignored by the game)

Saving the transfer stash while being in game should work, provided it is not open in game at the same time - the exception to this being 1.0.4.0 as that version had a bug, previous versions and 1.0.4.1 should work

Version 1.2.4 released

Read support for Item Assistant’s file format (.ias) added

I’m playing on softcore expansion, no mods. All the stashes are still empty after reload. If I load items or changes to the tabs in ‘stash transfer’ they are not recognised by the game either. Not sure what else I can try.

If they are empty in the tool but not in game, you are most likely using a different directory in game (local vs cloud)

Are you using cloud save ? That frequently has issues seeing stash changes (see FAQ), but the tool should still see the items in the stash.

No, not using cloud saves. I’ve disabled cloud saving in Steam and In game. I’ve checked the save directory GD Stash reads from is the same one the game updates.

I can’t seem to figure how to use the crafting section of this programme. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

no idea then, as it works for everyone else, you using the wrong stash still seems to be the most likely explanation

See the documentation (doc subdir), if that is not enough, ask more specific questions.

Basically 1) search item, 2) add affixes, 3) put in stash

Hi

I used this tool to reset my mastery to 0, then choose another mastery.
I switched from shaman to necromancer.
But i can still assign the skills to the quickbar. And the skills still function.

thx for your work

Did you buy back all your skill points first at the Spirit Guide ingame?

you do not lose skills when you reset the mastery, for that you need to first buy back the skill points in game.

Switch back to your original mastery, then go to the spirit guide to buy the skills back and only then set the mastery to 0 points.

Happy New Year!
Thank you so much for updating!
I’m so psyched to play!

Thanks for the update, glad we don’t have to exit the game to update our stash anymore.

Hi Mamba,

Thank you for your help again. I played around and turned out that I was thinking the entire time that the character stash as the transfer stash! I thought it was just the first page. Anyway I found the button to change to transfer stash and lo and behold you app read it fine. Apologies again. All working well now.

^^ But it comes from the patch v1.0.4.1, not from the tool!

Yeah I saw that in the notes

Happy new year too, enjoy the game

I just transfered some stuff out of my ingame transfer stash, closed GDStash, and started GD, and found my transfer stash had been completely reset. No expansions purchased, completely empty. Does GDStash save backups, and if so, where?

EDIT: I see some transfer.t0# files in the remote/save steam userdata directory, guessing one of those needs to be renamed transfer.bst or transfer.gst. Made a backup of everything in the folder ahead of time.

EDIT 2: renamed transfer.t00 to transfer.gst, appears to have restored my stash.

are you using cloud save ? If so, only change the stash with the tool when the game is not running. You can store items in the tool at any time, as long as you copy them over and do not change / save the stash.

EDIT 2: renamed transfer.t00 to transfer.gst, appears to have restored my stash.

yes, .t00 is always the most recent backup, .t01 the one before that and so forth
