Does the “Import” folder matter aka can it be wherever/whatever?
the dir on the Im/Export page ? That can be any dir, it only defaults to the save dir. The import will recursively go through all subdirs and their subdirs and import all stashes and chars it finds
Just wondering, why is it impossible to craft Loghorrean’s shoulders or Heart of Theodin Marcell (those are the two I’ve noticed anyway)? Or is it just me?
They are rare items and should show up. If they do not, chances are you have not imported the GD data (on the Config page) since they have been released and the tool does not know of them because of that.
I think I’ve done that. I tried clicking “import database” again (that’s what you meant I assume?) and it didn’t work. Those two seem to be the only rare items that aren’t showing up.
They show up for me, rare shoulders and scepter. Does sound like an old dataset to me.
Yes, that is what I meant. They do show up for me, the only explanation is that you have outdated data in the tool. If the import you did was successful, check that your GD version is up to date (with GOG it might not be, not sure how you would manage this with Steam).
Yep, it’s up to date (1.0.5.1). So no idea why it’s happening, it’s not a huge problem though.
So just an update on this, I tried clicking “load items from dir” in the im/export page and it said something about a scepter and something for the “torso” not being found. I assume those are the missing things. I’m certain my game is up to date, so could there be any other explanation for it?
And another update. I tried killing Theodin and he dropped his scepter, so it’s not that it doesn’t exist in my game or something. Then I tried putting it in the shared stash, and when I opened GD Stash and tried to look at it there was an error saying “some items do not exist in the database and are not displayed”.
If you had imported the current version into the tool, the item should exist. I have no other explanation than outdated data.
I’m really clueless about java and really computers in general, has anyone had these issues and been able to solve them?
I can’t see your image, so (firewall)… however, have you checked that last few pages to see if someone had the same issue? I’m guessing they have and I’m guessing the answer has already been given.
At least, hopefully that’s the case, but I’m confident it is.
Read the info messages, they tell you what to do, which ideally is to get a 64bit Java and use that. The documentation / faq also has some info
Hi,
first of all, thanks for your amazing work behind this useful assistant, well i just finished to install it and there what’s happen: http://photobucket.com/gallery/user/carlitowayzz/media/bWVkaWFJZDoxNTQ1NzIzNTE=/?ref=1
Any help would be very appreciate, thanks in all cases!
Trying to reinstall the Stash on my new PC. Have copied the Java over and downloaded and extracted the Stash files, but I’m not seeing any way to install it.
that looks odd, did you unzip the .jar file ? The .zip should not contain these files…
Well, that’s the strange thing - there is no jar file, only those ones. I downloaded from ModDB and extracted using WinRAR as usual. Put it in My Games area and that’s what I get. Other than that I have the WinRAR folder and a GDStash Windows batch file and that’s it.
Just downloaded it from moddb to and I definitely have a .jar in my zip file, what you are showing in the first pic is the content of that .jar so you too should have such a jar.
i do notice that you are hiding the extensions though, so maybe you do not see it as a jar because of that. Also, as a .jar technically is a .zip, winrar and other tools frequently grab that extension too. I assume that is what happened here and makes you believe that there is no .jar. The 2.6MB WinRAR Archive is the .jar, it only is associated wrong
Yes, if I tick the show extensions and untick the hidden ones the WinRAR changes to a .jar. But that’s the only one. Does it need extracting again?
