How can we make MOD unique items?

Hey there, I am planning to use this tool in order to reset skill points and be able to select a different class. Is there a risk of losing progress/stash if I do that?

you have to import the mod and have it selected on the Config page (if you switch between vanilla and mod or different mods)

no, these are different files, so they cannot be affected by this. If you use cloud save, make sure that GD is not running though.

The tool does not support resetting skill points, so you will need to buy them back in game. To select a different mastery, set the mastery points to 0 and then select a new mastery in game.

Really, you had to go there… I never select items based on these stats, Stun maybe but the rest

Aetherwarped Cleaver has all but two rare prefixes (Aetherfire and Hellfire) missing (for 82 and 92 levels) when I try to craft. Allowing all combinations lets me use them. Bug in loot tables? Other greens craft just fine.

I have all the prefixes for those levels (84 and 94). Try importing the GD data again and see if that solves it.

Still missing. Thanks for quick answer!

That is odd, the majority of prefixes I see are rare ones

They’re not completely missing. Try a Bonescythe, you should see same prefixes, but with their level going up to 92, but they don’t go that high for Cleaver.

First of all, thank you for your reply.

After selecting MOD, importing data and saving it, all functions are disabled. After cancelling the selected MOD, all functions are normal. Why?

Hello mamba, I used the tool to change the class of my character, however I forgot to unlearn the skills at the trainer. When I picked the new class and added the correct number of skill points I noticed that my character could still use 16/16 Cadence even though I replaced Soldier with Demo. How can I fix that?

Sounds like you did not import or the import failed. The other tabs are only enabled if the active mod has been imported successfully, as this is a prerequisite to use them.

Either unlearn the skills of your new mastery, set that to 0 invested points again and then in game select and invest in the bar of your old mastery, to then unlearn its skills in game, or go back to your old savefile (the tool creates backups, player.g00 is the most recent one, .g01 the next older one and so forth) and unlearn the skills in game.
This is only an option if you have not played the char since the change, as otherwise your progress would be lost (at least the part stored in player.gdc).

After you are now back to your old mastery with bought back skillpoints, use the tool to unassign the mastery again.
If buying back points gets expensive, use the tool to set their number back to 0 or to give yourself enough iron.

can this work with grimarilion?

Haven’t tried that in a while, but it should be able to. Give it a try and let me know if you encounter errors. Assuming these are in the tool and not in the mod, I will look into them

The loot tables could be causing this difference. The loot table for Aetherwarped Cleaver has the following rare prefixes

rarePrefixTableName1,records/items/lootaffixes/prefix/prefixtables/prefixb01_weapon_all1h.dbr,
rarePrefixTableName2,records/items/lootaffixes/prefix/prefixtables/prefixb01_weapon_melee1h.dbr,
rarePrefixTableName3,records/items/lootaffixes/prefix/prefixtables/prefixb01_weapon_all1h_02.dbr,
rarePrefixTableName5,records/items/lootaffixes/prefix/prefixtables/prefixb02_weapon_melee1h.dbr,

while the other rare 1h axes have the following prefixes

rarePrefixTableName1,records/items/lootaffixes/prefix/prefixtables/prefixb01_weapon_all1h.dbr,
rarePrefixTableName2,records/items/lootaffixes/prefix/prefixtables/prefixb01_weapon_melee1h.dbr,
rarePrefixTableName3,records/items/lootaffixes/prefix/prefixtables/prefixb01_weapon_all1h_02.dbr,
rarePrefixTableName4,records/items/lootaffixes/prefix/prefixtables/prefixb02_weapon_all1h.dbr,
rarePrefixTableName5,records/items/lootaffixes/prefix/prefixtables/prefixb02_weapon_melee1h.dbr,

I assume the missing prefixes are in that 4th entry. Going by the content of that table, it contains high level prefixes, I did not check which ones specifically

Edit: Forwarded to Crate, so should be fixed in a future release

Not sure if here is the place to ask but IDK why my Steam Cloud Save is set off and still my save is at \219990 folder and not My Games, was trying to make a save in GD stash and end up by losing everything, I have the backups(copy and paste the folder) but even if I paste in both folders’ save still doesn’t work. Is there any solution to that ?

Disable cloud saving for GD in Steam and in the game’s settings, that should hopefully do the trick.
