it ‘thinks’ you did not store any in the tool’s database. What you did find in game does not matter, what matters is what you stored in the tool.
Awesome so everything is good
I do use the .bat to start the tool.
I edited it to point to the Java update thusly
@ “C:\Program Files\Java\jre-10.0.2\bin\java.exe” -Xms1152m -Xmx1152m -jar GDStash.jar
But I still get the error?
Based on your error message, it seems like the path to the Java executable is incorrect. Best to verify by using Windows Exlporer to navigate to where your Java executable is, and then copy and paste the path from the location bar and paste it into the .bat file.
Hey mamba,
is there any way to see the actual roll of an item in the gdstash?
no, the item only stores the seed and replicating the RNG logic is pretty complicated
Hi. Yes that’s what I did, or I thought I had…
If it did find java.exe there, you should not get an error message.
You can also start the tool directly, just double-click GDStash.jar to start it. No need to use the .bat
Whats the difference between the two white circles and two green circles. on the search bar?
see the documentation, when the green circles are selected, the search performs an OR search, eg if you search for weapons with Chaos damage and Vitality damage flagged, any weapon with either damage type will be in the result.
When the white circles are selected (or rather the ones with the green intersection), the search performs an AND search, so only weapons with both Chaos and Vitality damage are returned
Thanks !
Double-clicking the .jar file is what leads to the error message…!
Use the .bat file you edited to launch the tool.
Double-click the .bat file.
that is odd, I thought you had the issue when starting GD Stash via the .bat. If Windows cannot find Java at all, try reinstalling Java.
It’s worked now - thanks!
Can we have an option to quickly search for an item by typing in its name (like, a list that updates in real time as you type)? Having to click search, select item type/rarity, then click ok slows down the process of searching tenfold.
Item type, rarity etc. are preserved, so you only specify them the first time, all that is then left for subsequent searches is pressing the button to open the search window, change the item name and press search. Hardly a tenfold increase.
I most likely will not add a dynamic search that constantly updates.
Hey mamba,
Firstly - I seriously need to thank you man. GDstash has made me enjoy the game so much more, and has allowed me to truly explore the mechanics of it.
I would never have kept up with GD without it.
One suggestion though - is it possible to use GDstash to add devotions to your spec, AND have it count as part of the 55 point cap?
The issue with not allowing this is as such:
- I give myself 55 points on GDstash
- The game will read it as 0/55 devotion points, but I’ll still be able to spend them on constellations.
- However, I cannot refund them.
The current workaround I’ve adopted is to give myself 999 tributes, and to buy 55 devotion points in the crucible.
It’s nbd, but just trite and a little annoying.
Once again, thanks mamba! <3
Build 1.2.7c
This new build corrected all the errors that was occurring on a mix of 8 different systems running Windows 7 , 8.1, to 10.
There is not one error after importing the Data Base on both Steam and GoG versions of the game.
Thank you Mamba for your hard work and devotion on this editor as well as the time you take to answer questions.
This latest build fixed also my lag when searching for items in crafting tab.
