If you/someone else give me the correct amounts and wrong parts, the HP and other stuff if there are more, I can fix it. Might be hardcoded, its been a long time.
just some minor bugfixes around editing char attributes
you get 2.5 HP / Physique, not 3, so 20 HP for one attrib point (which increases Physique by 8), not 24
thanks, is the mana or the other values are correct? I imagine hp and mp would be same(2.5 mp / int), but canāt verify atm.
Mana is 2 / Spirit, that should still be correct
Hi!
I need to create a copy of one of my char with different name without any alteration to it so i can access both of them to try out two pretty similar builds. Can i do it with your tool, or maybe there is a more simple way to do it?
you should be able to. Copy your char to a different dir, open the tool and rename the original char, move the copy to the main dir as well (thereby having both chars available)
Many thanks!
Does this work with the GOG version of Grim Dawn?
I installed 0.99b and Java 64-bit and it then told me āversion not supported.ā
so, um, what if i had āmovedā (select, place, delete) a lot of my legendaries from my gdstash database to the games shared stash and i deleted an item that wasnā properly placed in the shared stashs grid and so for some reason i closed the program and ofc didnāt save the stash⦠are all those items lost?
Yes it does work with the GOG version.
Not sure what the āversion not supportedā is about, when exactly do you get that ?
If you did delete them from the database, i.e. not just select and place them in the shared stash but actually pressed the āDelete item from DBā, then yes, those items are lost.
If you remember what they were, you can craft them again, but that would be all that is left to do.
I got it when trying to import the database.
Hmm, it could be because I had upgraded to v1.0.0.3?
I can now see the Item Transfer Items, but no characters. When I try and load the characters, I get, āCannot read save fileā¦ā Version not supported.
will have to check that, sounds like there might be some changes in that case.
If you can see the stash items, the DB import should have been successful (assuming it was a fresh install)
No, that is not it. I have upgraded too, played a char a bit (so if there was a new format it should now be used), even created a new char.
I have no issues reading any of them with the tool.
Because of this I assume you do have the opposite problem, it is an old char that does not use the current format yet. Try playing it in game for a bit, to update the format and then try again.
Let me know if it then works
If not, then maybe there is some odd part of the save file you are using that mine donāt and for which the info I had was outdated or changed with 1.0.0.3. In that case I would need your char to take a look, the player.gdc file would be sufficient.
I got the same error when trying to load a character that hadnāt been played in a while. I loaded the character in game then went back to GD Stash and it loaded the character fine after that. Iām guessing loading the character refreshed the save to the latest version of the game?
Yes, loading the char in Grim Dawn will save it again in the latest file format, which can then be read by GD Stash. This is my assumption here too.
That did the trick. I deleted the previous GDStash directory. loaded up Grim Dawn and started up all the characters, then installed GD Stash and it loaded the database and characters no problem.
Many thanks.
Do you plan to provide a text export feature ? It would be really useful to build trading lists.
Thanks for all the job.
Hadnāt really though about it, creating these lists by hand is not that hard
I assume you need epics and legendaries only, as no one is trading anything else ?
Thanks for all the job.
Thanks, you are welcome
