Version 1.0.1b fixes this
Hey,
as others previously mentioned, importing stashes from Cornucopia003 is fucked.
As also previously mentioned, you need to first import the DB for the mod
Sorry I shouldnāt have rushed writing my message and be done with it.
Thatās the problem though, and Iām probably just stupid on this, but I donāt think I understand what you mean by first importing the Database for the mod. Maybe Iām using the wrong import directory or maybe my configuration is dead wrong (which Iām 90% sure is not the case). But yeah, Iām confused.
Go to the config tab, set up the GD dir, save dir, and in your case mod you want to use. Save the config and then press the āImport DBā button that is right underneath it.
Whenever you select a mod on this page (or no mod for that matter), you should get a popup that tells you to import it unless you have already done so.
Oh holy shit okay, Iām fucking dumb! I had to scroll down. Sorry for that, itās embarrassing really.
And thank you.

I donāt think this is on your end but mine, my PSEditor isnāt working properly either. The viewer too.
And yet itās weird because the database.arz is in the right folder and I never touched it.
That probably means you are using a 32bit JVM as that has issues allocating 200MB RAM at once which I use as a file buffer, see the discussion a few posts up. If you are on a 64bit OS, use the 64bit JVM. If that still happens, increase the heap size (see doc folder for details). If you are on a 32bit OS, get the executable version.
EDIT: you might want to adjust the font and graphics size on the config page to make everything fit without scrolling.
Followed the steps and ended up getting - http://imgur.com/a/xqWby - error after I tried importing.
Is there a fix?
- make sure you use the 64 bit JVM
- if it still happens, increase the heap size in the .bat file and use that
- if you are on 32bit Windows, use the executable
Since Cenoās last post on the topic seemed to be rather definite, i dowloaded GDStash again. Unfortunately i run on a 32 bit OS (y, i knowā¦). I use the win 32 bit executable. When trying to import the Cornucopia 003 database, i get a long list of errors, wich apparently are related to the new completion bonuses on relics, followed by an unspecified āFehler beim importieren der Datenbankā.
(sry, iām a donkey, donāt know how to make screenshots and embed them :o ).
Edit says i figured it out:
I guess I have to volunteer for that beta to see what is going on there
Simply put, a DB field I use is too short because Cornucopia uses longer IDs than GD. Will have to figure out which one that is though.
I upped the heap size and now I get new errors with items missing from directory.
This seems way more buggy than the old item sharedstash used to be.
It is not bugged at all, actually. Post your errors, I am assuming you never imported the DB, but cannot know for sure
How does this thing interact with game patches? Does the user need to do anything on their end when the game updates to avoid issues?
Hey Mamba,
Iāve attached the errors I get when starting up GD Stash using the latest version (101b). Everything worked on the older version I was usingā¦I believe it was a 99x version but Iām not sure.
Any help you could provide would be appreciated.
Iāve never had to do anything so far. Possibly reimporting the database when new items are added to the game.
Hm, goodie.
Assuming that you donāt want to use the cheatery features (I am interested only in the storage space aspect), would you recommend this or the item assistant tool? Which one is more convinient/less buggy to use?
I suspect the author of GD Stash would recommend GD Stash
But donāt think either tool will give you any trouble if used correctly.
This tool primarily tools with the character files, in that regard as long as the format doesnāt change (fairly rare), patches will have no effect. I would assume that the same is true for the reading of the database and such, as long as the format isnāt change (and I donāt think that does at all really) then it shouldnāt have any effect.
That such, the Crucible DLC did change the character format, but GD Defiler is fully capable, and I believe this is as well already.
That very much depends on the game update. For most you have to do nothing or only import the new GD data. When the file format changes, it will require an update on my end.
