From the looks of it at the very least your imported data is outdated (I added additional columns to the tables that you are now missing). You should get a message when you start that tells you to import the DB.
Importing it should fix this.

I never really used IA so cannot recommend one over the other. As far as bugs are concerned, both had a few minor ones which get resolved fairly fast.
Right now the only bug that GD Stash has that I am aware of is that for some mods (Cornucopia) some DB fields are too short as they use longer names. Vanilla should be pretty bug free.
Iâd say give both a try and then go with the one of which you like better.
Hey mate! Can you configure gd stash to be installed in a different directory?
I have the game installed in a different directory, not steam one and the programs says âwrong directoryâ when I chose it.
YepâŚIâm a dopeâŚthat fixed it. Thanks!
You should be able to tell it what directory GD is installed in, I can switch between the Steam and GOG install dirs without any issues.
The tool checks for some file to verify it is the right dir, I believe that is database/database.arz, so if that subdir + file exists in the dir you tell it, it should accept it - and no matter where you installed GD, that should always be the case.
Same for the save dir, there it checks for transfer.gst or transfer.gsh.
Okey, two more basic questions:
I used the 32-bit executable installation because Java scares me. If a new version is released, how do you update? Just download the new version and install it into the same directory? Or do you need to uninstall the older version (and if you do, how do you preserve items currently stored in the utility?)
Can you use this utility to transfer items while the game is running?
just install the new version over the old. No reason to be scared of Java though, it s not all that different from .Net (that copied most features from it)
- Can you use this utility to transfer items while the game is running?
you can always transfer items into the tool. You can transfer them back to the shared stash as long as that stash is closed in-game. If you transfer items to a char, that char should not be in game.
Version 1.0.1c released.
Extends a DB field, so the Cornucopia IDs fit it and do not get truncated.
The v3 beta still has some tags that have too long values, but I believe that actually is an error in Cornucopia, so did not address that. v2 should work now however.
Nifty. Gonna give this a proper spin, then. Getting real tired of the collective mental disorder nearly every ARPG developer seems to partake in about âmaking players make all the hard choices about what to keep and what to throw out.â
Question - I remember that the titan quest stash utility let you create virtual stash pages with their own names for easy sorting/tracking.
I can see that this utility has a very nice search feature, but does it have something similar to that? I liked being able to make a page titled âWarder Gearâ and arrange the items I found that I was interested in using for that build visually on the utility inventory grid. The current functionality I see of a list doesnât really match that. I suppose with creative use of mules one could approximate that, though.
And re-entering multiple search parameters to sort all the gear you might be interested in saving for a particular build is a bit inconvenient.
Perhaps, if a virtual grid is too much of a pain to make, maybe it would be possible to save a set of search parameters with a name? Like letâs say I select from a drop down list a search setting I named âWitchblade gearâ and it selects all the checkboxes/etc. I associated with the said search setting?
Thank you for the mod either way!
I dont know mamba.
I browse save directory where transfer file is and game installation directory and your program doesnt recognize it. Still says wrong directory.
Iâm executing .jar under 64bites version win 7
There are no pages, named or otherwise. You also cannot save and reuse a search, but it does not take long to set one up from scratch.
And another thank you :). C003 got fixed, so now it seems to work for real. I still finished the import process with an âFehler beim Importieren der Datenbankâ, but it recognizes everything and doesnât ask for a fresh import anymore, when i start the program.
If that error is after the message âsuccessfully importedâ you can ignore it.
I am sometimes getting that too, most of the time not. Havenât yet figured out when it happens as whenever I debug it, it does not happen, maybe it is a racing condition, but it should not really be either⌠in any case, you can ignore it
Well, that was interesting. After I tried to transfer a few items directly into one of my characterâs inventory, it got reset into a level 1 character with no items or reputation. Kept the quest, though.
If it helps, I was in the main menu character selection screen (selection hovering at another character), and tried to put a few pants into its inventory from the database. When I tried to select the character that got the new items, it got a quick transgender surgery and got reset into a 1.
I am sort of sure I saved the item changes in the utility before I selected it⌠Oh well. I think I can recover all of the items from it except the soulbound craftings mats and dump them on a fresh char.
Is there a way to transfer one stashâs pages to another? For example every mod has its own stash unfortunately, and Iâd like to be able to convert my stash from one to the other. In this case specifically itâs because we have Cornucopia 002 and 003 parallel to each other now and Iâd like to make a community stash (full of stuff to save people time who donât want to refarm from vanilla) and itâd save me a lot of time if I could just copy the items from 002 to 003
I donât even think this is possible. In any case, there is a backup of your char that you can restore. In the same dir as the char, there are player.g## files 00 being the most recent 09 being the oldest. If you rename them back to .gdc you can use them again.

will try to see if I can replicate that
Yes, create a dir for the 003 stash, copy the 002 stash into it, select it (in the 003 dir), change its mod from 002 to 003 and save that change.
Woops did not see new version has it built in. Been a while since I updated my bad.
Also youâre brilliant for doing all this thank you thank you thank you.
I just downloaded and started the program the first time. I have the newest JRE as well as JDK version installed.
I used the first download link of this thread: Download Version 1.0.1c from ModDB
When I started GDStash the first time, it did not create a db-Folder as itâs meant to do. I cannot search for any items, cause thereâs no item-DataBase.
There are some errors popping up when starting the programm, saying that they couldnât find itemXY in the data base which is of course true cause the database file does not exist.
I did set up the configuration tab of the program as you wrote it in the tutorial.
I donât know if iâm doing smth wrong, or the program does
Help would be much appreciated! it would be enough for me, if you could simply upload the db-folder for me, so iâll be able to use it
But then it would break every patch, or if you wanted to use a mod
