It’s just a text file, that would need to be included in the community translation pack.
Then anyone with Portuguese installed inside Grim Dawn would automatically get asked if they want IA translated as well.

I’ve backing up regularly my items on GDIA, but I don’t really understand how to move or load a backup in case I wanna, for example, move my saves from one pc to another. I’ve suffered the dupe bug a year or so ago and tried to roll back my items to a previous backup but couldn’t manage to do it, so I just started from scratch (was thinking about doing it for some time so it wasn’t even a bad thing).

The export.ias is what IA exports when you enable dropbox/gdrive/onedrive backups, or backups to a custom folder. They can also be found at %appdata%\..\local\evilsoft\iagd\backup

If you’re using online backups, and there’s no red X over your cloud icon, then your items are safe.
Simply logging in with the same e-mail address on a new PC will restore the items. This functionality can also be used to share stashes with other uses (girlfriend etc) or play on multiple PCs.

If your harddrive dies, I hope you’ve backed up your characters. IA online backups is for items only. However the dropbox/gdrive/etc checkboxes will also make a copy of your characters “just in case”. Highly recommend taking measures to ensure your characters are always backed up.
Ok, now that I know exactly how the backup system works I’m a bit more at ease. Thank you for the detailed response and for this tool.

Thank you for an incredible mod for GD! I updated to the latest version 1.0.7644.21972 from 05/12/2020 and now when I open GDIA, none of my items are showing up. I have read and reread the FAQ and I have followed your instructions but still none of the items show up. I have loaded the latest backup, I have renamed it to transfer.gst and moved it to GD save folder, I have selected vanilla and loaded the database and updated item stats, I have tried restoring from backup, I have restrated IA many times. I am running GrimInternals. Any suggestions from here?
Yep:
- Send me your log file (so I can figure out what the issue is an fix it)
- Downgrade to the version on the website (so you can continue using IA for now)

Did you see the UI? What did IA look like?
Log files indicates that Chrome never initialized… a bit odd.
a procedure imported by ‘cefsharp.core.dll’ could not be loaded
every time i try and open the app 
cannot use it anymore which means all my items are lost…was working fine yesterday
its ok i re-downloaded and installed and it now works, maybe the .dll file got corrupted or something

When I put that item back to IA it is added to the existing ones. Seems like item immediately loads from cloud when it dissappears from IA. I would not want to cheat) I just want to have an infinite space to keep my garbage…
I turned off cloud saving, but items that already was there still bugged. Please, help me (and do not beat me hard for my eng skills:)

Hop unto the IA discord and we’ll take a look. This should definitely not be happening.
- IA does delete operations towards the cloud before downloads, and should not proceed to uploads/downloads until delete succeeds.
- IA should never loot an item it detects as a pure duplicate.
- Unless “using on multiple PCs” is enabled, IA only downloads items once, then stops until the next restart.
By analyzing the logs and testing a few things, I’m sure we can get to the bottom of it.
May be some IO issues at play…
There is another strange thing: if I have, for example, 2 same rifles in IA and I want to move all of them into stash simultaneously, there is a chance that number of moved rifles will be increased to 5-7. All of them will be with random seeds. It doesn’t happen everytime. Cant understand what reason leads to this bug.
My previous bug with duplicates inside IA occures no more. Right after your reply to me it dissapeared. I dont know whats going on.
