Is there any plans to make IA able to craft items ? I have crafting material in smugglers stash, but what are
plans in the future ?.Forthermore I have few items ( 3L +1E ) which IA wan’t accept.Great app.THX.

IA used to have some basic crafting functionality, but it got removed as nobody ever used it.
The closest you’ll get for now, is the embedded page with checkboxes. No actual integration with your items.

I had a poll on how the users feel about adding more statistics to IA (so I can see which tabs are used, if feature notices are clicked etc), but 0 replies for or against. I may add it, and then analyze if the crafting tab should be reintroduced. Time will tell. It’s not a priority for now at least.

The crafting feature was removed after a poll of 20:1 for removing it, roughly.

Downloading files over http instead of https is super insecure :frowning: No checksums or anything to verify the file either. I know the source is available on github, but this would provide a bit of extra sanity to the layman :pray:

Over the coming months, updates/downloads may slowly be transitioned over to https.
It’s a work in progress.

Due to restrictions at the current hosting provider, its currently either “only https” or “only http”. Only https breaks some other functionality on that particular domain.

No checksums or anything to verify the file either

This is likely never coming, anyone who cares enough to verify the checksums should be able to compile their own copy. If we get to the point where the downloads (over https) are compromised, anywhere hosting the checksums would be as well.

IA is undergoing some substantial changes in regards to hosting, automatic updates, cloud sync etc.
The primary source of information about IA is on the IA discord, and as such the majority of communication happens there.

I mean, just curious, but why not throw the binaries on the github releases page. It’s free hosting and you can rely on the github readme as a landing page.

Or even use GitHub hosted pages as a landing site, as it works for any Jekyll based deployment. The site in question is static in nature.

Apparently you want to have grim dawn up first or IA will give you a “could not find the Grim dawn install location” Not a big deal I hope. The other issue is it doesn’t populate the item window with any items unless I click a filter box on and off. Then all the items appear. Any thoughts?

Edit: This is an old version. Downloading a newer one.

Nexusmods is always outdated. Try the one at http://grimdawn.dreamcrash.org/ia/

The latest on nexus is 1.2.7617.31137 from the 9th of November 2020.
Your version seems to be from 2018 or 2019.
