Hi, just trying GDIA for the first time. Installed, had DPI problem but fixed using Compatibility settings, successfully parsed database.
Iām trying to log in online with my email address, and it looks like Iāve found a minor bug.
Plus signs are an allowed character in email addresses, and Gmail lets you set up aliases with [email protected], which is what I was trying to do here. However, I get the error:
Error: Got response 400,
Using my email address without the plus sign worked. It looks like the server script that takes the email addresses isnāt parsing/escaping plus signs correctly.
The rest of the setup appears to have gone fine and Iām transferring items into GDIA now. Thank-you for the program, itās definitely helpful as muling was not a fun part of the game!

I was just wondering how you would go about uninstalling the game and coming back at a later stage since the cloud saving for Steam is disabled.
Would you copy the character files back from local over into the cloud save location and then re-enable the could storage in game and on Steam? I understand the items will be saved if you use the online feature, but Iām not sure if characters are also stored and how you would go about resuming your games/characters at a later date.
Sorry this thread is like 6-7 years long and I couldnāt seem to find anything.
Welcome to the forum. 
For local saves you simply back up the Save folder in My Documents\My Games\Grim Dawn on to an external drive of some kind. You should do this regularly if you use local saves just in case of any problems.

hi, my IA works perfectly except for 1 thing, the tool doesnt loot any item of the emberās calling, goredrinker and veilkeeperās sets. i put the items on the loot tab, they disappear with the message āitem looted by IAā but when i move away from stash and open it again, they are on the move items stash (like when you get an item from IA). is there a fix for this problem? Thank you for this wonderful tool!
Are these new items? (if so just parse GD again)

all of those items are from 1.1.9.0. also what do you mean by āparse GD againā?
You should re-read the OP, specifically the installation instructions. The steps for parsing the GD files is there.

Hello, item assistant was working just fine until now. The app is not opening up anymore. I still get the notification āItem assistant enabledā in game and I can still put item into it, but I donāt see the item assistant screen on my computer so I canāt retrieve my items.
The online saved charachters canāt be accessed or viewed anymore. Why?
I go to the online tab, and under details it says logged in as xxxxx, i click view charachters as usual and it switches to the main items window and nothing happens. It used to show the charachters there.

I had the same problem after not playing for a long time. I updated the program and restarted now everything works fine.

These cloud saved charachters are uploaded everytime there is a change to them? So in other words if i play on different computers the one in the cloud should always be the latest used charachter version so to speak?

Missing only:
Would it be possible to show only the high level stuff somehow? I was trying to figure out what i was missing in my collection of blue and purple items but it shows all items including the leveling versions which makes it very hard to figure this out as not all high level items start with āmythicalā
In this example I am only interested in what i am missing from the highest level blue and purple items.
Maybe a filter to only display level 82+ items? I think thatās the lowest level of the highest level items so to speak.
You could try putting ā82ā in the min-level filter in the upper right corner.
That doesnāt work for the collections tab. Only item tab from what i can see.

Might be its minimized to tray or opened outside of the screen.
Deleting the settings file at %appdata%\..\local\evilsoft\iagd named settings.json should resolve the issue. Youāll need to login into online features again if you wish to continue using backups and buddyitems. as deleting this file logs you out.
