They do not appear in IA at all. If I place them in the character inventory and then move them to the transfer stash IA displays a message onscreen “Item Not Looted. Grim Dawn Not Parsed”
How do I get the items to appear in IA ?
Edit:I finally figured out how to get things going. That’s the good news. The bad news is no-one responded in several days which makes it difficult to use a utility.
Hello. I have a quick question. So I noticed in the ‘misc’ tab for item stats, you can filter items based on whether or not they give +X to all skills in a mastery. Is their a way to filter items that give +X to all skills to all masteries? A generic +X to all skills. Hope I am making sense.
I love IA and using it with GD, but I think so far as what IA considers double rares and affixes might be wrong. Full Rainbow and this tool conflict on what it thinks certain affixes are. For instance, a set of shoulders can be marked (GREEN) (OLIVE GREEN) (YELLOW) and underneath tagged as “rare” not double rare in text below and when deposited into IA it’s marked as (double rare). If you go on GD Stash and make the same shoulders you can see the (YELLOW) affix is indeed a yellow magical affix and not a (GREEN) rare affix.
So, where IA works flawlessly so far as keeping track of storing items in an indefinite db, the db seems kind of screwy? I think? Also (which I think has been covered before) epics list in GDIA as purple when purples (iirc) in GD are in fact legendary.
I was just curious if there was any clarity on this Because right now Grim Dawn + GD Item Assitant + Rainbow Filter is really confusing me some on what the actual item is.
I think they are saying that the base item rarity is considered in GDIA. So for instance:
(GREEN PREFIX)(OLIVE GREEN ITEM)(YELLOW SUFFIX)
^ This is considered a double rare within GDIA because the item is also green (rare). That is a shame though, because in terms of how the game looks at loot I don’t think that is correct.
and underneath tagged as “rare” not double rare in text below and when deposited into IA it’s marked as (double rare). If you go on GD Stash and make the same shoulders you can see the (YELLOW) affix is indeed a yellow magical affix and not a (GREEN) rare affix.
I’ll get it fixed sometime today.

I stand by my choice, Crate/GD is the one incorrectly coloring items.
I have. Nothing so far. Searching just a single digit doesn’t yield anything most of the time, except 1 or 2 items with that number in its name, or an item with a tiered gem from a mod as a component. Searching for “+1 to all skills,” “to all skills,” or “skills” with or without the ‘s’ on ‘skills’ also doesn’t result in anything.
From my testing so far, the search bar seems to only apply to the name of the item, not anything within its description.
Go to the “grim dawn” tab and parse the game again, as well as item stats.
See if that solves anything.
There was a bug a few months ago where IA did not strip out ^K color codes from the text, that might be what’s tripping you up. If the text is stored as “+1 ^Kto all skills” or similar.
If that doesn’t solve it, got any example of an item you have with +1 to all skills which does not show up? Can look into it later today.
Ok, so I wasn’t pointing fingers or anything. I love the tool (always have.) I know “screwy” isn’t constructive, but I pretty much laid out what my issue was which for example what constitutes the double rare in tagging? GD’s tagging, rainbow filters, GDIA? Because everyone one of those including the game seem to have a different idea on how to tag it.
Perhaps Crate needs to standardize better how loot is to be tag to make it less confusing for a game that throws dump trucks of loot at you per session. Maybe they are? I just thought I would post to try and better understand.
