slipperypete, just downloaded the latest version and when it finished and went to launch I got this message. What’s it talking about? The stash seems to open fine afterwards, but I can’t tell if it’s the latest version as there’s no version number anywhere. If it helps I still have a Win7 64 bit machine.
That error means it cannot find some DLL files that chromium [most likely] requires to function correctly.
In the IA folder you can find a file called vcredist_x86.exe which will install it.

Yes, that seems to work, message has stopped appearing. I do find some things don’t seem to be registering properly though. I was just scrolling through looking for fire based items, no filters set, and quite a few have Any as the level requirement. Yet in game they do have a level requirement so the Assistant isn’t finding/or doesn’t know the level needed. These are green items btw. Not just in this latest update, I had it in previous versions too.
Ah… Maybe the level requirement comes from the prefix… I’ll look into it =)
I don’t own any green items, so wouldn’t have noticed it.
Did you already click “Mods”, select vanilla and click “Load” ?

Anyone here run into the issue of Grim Dawn simply going black, refusing to close or minimize, when exiting the game?

Hey. Yes i have exact thing with GD. Completly dark and have to force shut computer to get going again. For me it is intermittent but tend to mostly happen when i use “Grim Dawn Stash Manager” and have stash loaded when trying to “log off”.

Question regarding filtering items by level. Does not seem to show all items to me and some items does not seem to show correct level. Been using it for 15 min though:)
If you check the site for Item Assistant, there’s a tab there to download GDKiller… CTRL+Alt+X to close GD when it goes dark.
I made it so I don’t have to reboot all the time.
I’ll be updating the level algorithm sometime this week probably, as I was just recently made aware =)
